Using "Darkness over Daggerford" portrait DLC in other Campaigns/Online?

I'm totally in love with the portraits from the DLC, but it seems they can only be picked while playing the DLC- and when I try to load the character in other Campaigns, it just shows as that shadowy robed avatar.

Is there a way to solve this? Surely the DLC should be for all aspects of NWN:EE

You should be able to extract the DoD portraits (see https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/comment/1013853/#Comment_1013853 ) and put them into the Portraits folder in Documents/Neverwinter Nights.
