Hi Everyone!

Today we've kicked our Steam page live! This means you can now:

- wishlist Axis & Allies Online ahead of release,
- take a first look at screenshots of the online boardgame!

It's been one month since we announced Axis & Allies Online and we're overjoyed with the response from the community.

We don't have a release date to share yet, but we are working hard to bring this iconic boardgame to life as a digital product - soon.

Please stay tuned for more news!

We'll be looking for feedback from players when we launch into Steam Early Access.

Will this be an exact implementation of the board game or
Will there be additional units types?

As part of Early Access, we want to work with the community. We want to ensure that Axis & Allies Online is a satisfying experience for veteran fans and new players alike. During Early Access, we’ll be actively reading and responding to comments and reviews. We're interested in player feedback and bug reports.

Why do you think so? Axis & Allies Online map looks like the boardgame. David Jensen from AxisAndAllies. org has had the privilege to play Axis & Allies Online for the past 4 weeks and he has posted a detailed analysis of the first screenshots and other Steam Page info.

I may go into detail more after I experience it, but most digital video games are more than keeping the game board authentic looking.
Usually with unique graphics or visuals during combat.
All that we have is screenshots of the map.

There will be unique graphics or visuals during combat, no problem. :)

Just can't reveal everything at once. ;)

Well then, that’s why it is underwhelming.

The life blood of Early Access titles is to actively capture the attention of users from the start. You won't get far from "passive" hype build ups that way.

I may not be interested in the franchise myself. But I'd still like to advice you to take an offensive marketing stance here with as much footage and details as possible. Otherwise even initial interested steam users will soon forget about it and seek similar war games on steam instead. The competition isn't exactly small within that genre after all.

Agree, and you really need to stand out from TripleA and showcase why someone should dole out $20 for something they have been playing for free for years.

As of now, there is really nothing that shows that. You need to come out swinging.

@JuliusBorisov I will wait until this game is officially released on https://store.beamdog.com. Not because I have no interest in this game, or I am not a fan of this genre of gaming, but because of the fact that I refuse to deal with Steam after being emailed numerous times that my account on Steam had been compromised when it actually wasn't and my password had been reset. Every so often, I would have to change my password to a new one. It eventually got so annoying to the point where I deleted my account. And no, there has been no evidence of spyware or keyloggers detected on my system. It's as clean and polished as a marching band's whistle. Thank you for reading, and happy gaming to all.

To wonder if it is not uglier than the version of Hasbro of ... 1998!
Certainly the graphics are not everything, far from it (I prefer the gameplay and / or depth to photorealism if you have to choose) but still ...!
