Braegar Mod English version

Greetings and salutations all, I have the EET installed and it installed the Braegar dwarf mod. However, the mod installed it using the German text language one. Is there any way I can re-install it using the English version if there is? I like the dwarf and I've never used him before, plus he's hella good with an axe. I'd like to keep him but he has quite a bit of dialogue with everyone in the party and then they all start speaking German, which I don't know. =(

Thanks, in advance, for your time and aid. I'm going to go back to playing and I will check back here in a bit.

    The "English" version of Breagar is still in German for great parts of the mod. That is why it's called "Partly English (but most still in German)". Which you probably don't see if you install it using an automated installer.

    Is there any plans to finish it's English translation?

    I kind of not know any German besides Oliver Khan and Volkswagen.

    Well, plans... Translating is what I like doing the least and currently there are mod updates on my plate. If I'll start translating I'd work on my Solaufein first, so...
    I kinda hope someone else will do it first. :) (Google translations need not apply.)

    I recommend copying all the German files of the mod over and overwriting the English version before installing. A dwarf talking in his own tongue ( ;) ) and necessitating a dictionary to decipher what exactly he says is better than a dwarf randomly switching between Dwarven and Common. It's really fun to translate tidbits here and there, and it's not like the mod has a particularly complicated story which would make it difficult to follow. Even without the complete translation this is one of the best mods out there, and the only companion to accompany you throughout the entire trilogy from Candlekeep to the Throne of Blood. Sadly I think the author had planned more initially, as the grumpy dwarf starts out very chatty and engaged in BG1 but turns almost into a silent companion during the later parts of BG2 and ToB. It's well worth rotating him in for his quests even during the later parts of the game, though.

    If that mod ever gets updated, it would be nice to add the 2-handed-weapon specialisation to the custom kit, because it would be awesome to use him with the Two-Handed Axes from Icewinddale :D.
    As a native german speaker I can reassure everyone that the mod is pretty well written, it hits that LOTR-Dwarfen tone quite well. Reminds me a bit of a character I used to play long time ago myself... har.... :D

    Where does one find Braegar in BG2EE? I see nothing in the readme.

    Well, that's nice to know just in case I wanted to eat Breagar. Silly Google Translate!

    But if you found the Kerzenburg download site, the description is in German and English, without the need for a translator.

    @Gabeg21 Breagar will be in Irenicus' Dungeon, the locked room with one of the golems inside.

    @CoffeeManNYPD There is an ingame reason why Breagar can't handle a two-handed weapon at least for a time. (Also, Ascalon retired and I won't make changes to the kit.)

    I installed, started a new game and he is nowhere to be found in the dungeons..... thoughts?
