Update to the hotfix patch. Beamdog released it today.
Sadly, it didn't fix my Infinite Dungeons saves, which was what I was currently working on. But it looks like they know it's crashing, and it Infinite Dungeons fixes haven't been implemented yet.
1.79 (stable) now received an update (both on Steam and from the Beamdog Client) with all the hotfixes from development builds 8193.1, 8193.2 & 8193.2.
Thank Jules for the update. However, after the update I noted that the PM AC progression is still occurring at the wrong levels. This is in the cls_stat_palema.2da. This is in both Dev and stable.
Are you running a PW with a custom cls_stat_palema.2da in a custom .hak file? If so, that is what is being used, and not the modified Beamdog version in /ovr

Not at all. I'm pulling these results directly from their 2da sources in the Beamdog "ovr" folder. One doesn't even need to start the game to see that it's wrong.

When I click on NWSync in the menu, it brings us a black box, which I can't close.

It's actually Newdark DromEd (level editor) for Thief1, Newdark Thief1, Newdark DromEd for Thief2, Thief2, and the last one is an experimental multiplayer executable for Thief2.
@JuliusBorisov I appreciate all the work being done with these latest incremental fixes. Has there been any progress made in resolving the attack bonus miscalculation bug. Have the devs been able to find the root cause of it, at least? Thank you for reading, and happy gaming to all.
I had a problem with the resolution in my end but i fix it.
Each time i would start the game it would be at 1920x1061 instead of 1920x1080.
I fix it with ctrl shift F12 and going into config tab there to put it right.
I am playing it in GOG

I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but I was wondering since the games have been released on consoles if you had any information regarding the attack bonus miscalculation bug.
