BGEE custom portraits no longer working

Alright, so I recently got a new PC, I installed BGEE and for a time all custom portraits I added worked. But now all of the sudden, I can't see them. In every menu but the Record menu there is a grey silhouette with a question mark instead. I have no bloody idea what is causing this or how to fix it and would very much so appreciate any help you can give.

And I don't believe the issue is with the portrait format seeing as how I made sure the portraits are all as they should be and again, they still show up in the Record menu.

The game didn't like capital letters ME in the title and no M at the end. Here are the files for the in-game use:

Well the female portraits don't wanna work either, and they've got capital F. Is it just the capital letters in general or?...

Just try changing titles to something like fe123M.bmp

The portraits I uploaded above work. So please attach your portraits, I'll look into them.

Yeah now those two plus a few more have just straight up disappeared and been replaced with blank, transparent nothingness

All the portraits should end at M (capital). Also please switch other capital letters to non-capital. Make sure all the bmp-s are 24-bit.

eg. me0015M.bmp and mh009M.bmp
