BGEE custom portraits no longer working

Alright, so I recently got a new PC, I installed BGEE and for a time all custom portraits I added worked. But now all of the sudden, I can't see them. In every menu but the Record menu there is a grey silhouette with a question mark instead. I have no bloody idea what is causing this or how to fix it and would very much so appreciate any help you can give.

And I don't believe the issue is with the portrait format seeing as how I made sure the portraits are all as they should be and again, they still show up in the Record menu.
