2.6.6 Will Not Run (Solved)

Both SoD and BG2 patch 2.6.6 will not start at all. Through the Beamdog client I get "Encountered an error trying to run" and an exit code: 3221225595.
Trying to run directly from the exe just gives me, "Application failed to start." I meet (exceed) all the system requirements to run. And yes, my operating system is 64 bit.

Troubleshooting I've already tried over the last 2 days:

Restart computer
Re-install
Run oalinst.exe from the game folder.
Checked my HDD
Run in compatibility mode
Run as administrator
Repair C++ install
Verify game files
Update visualredist
Update drivers
Checked the DLL in the registry for correct value.
Updated OpenAL
Ran System File Checker
Ran a DISM check

The new patch install completely overwrote my 2.5 install and now this is my only option to play the EE. I just want to play and I'm at a complete loss.

Make sure you don't have anything in your override folder as it may cause problems when starting the game.

Also make sure you have the lates version of OpenAL installed. You may get it here:

There is no override folder and OpenAL is latest version.
