I recently played Icewind Dale EE and i noticed my Main Hand THACO did not go down by one from 12 to 11 when casting Chant which is supposed to give +1 to attack rolls. With Bless it did go down however. Am i missing something?

Btw, U posted your message in English but in the German language section. LoL ?
For example, I made a test fighter/cleric in BG2, and started whacking the jailkeep golem.
Character: base THAC0 15, +2 to hit from strength, +1 to hit from proficiency, -4 to hit off-hand.
Enemy: AC 7, immune to non-magical weapons so it doesn't take damage.
With no spells, the character's attack rolls display as (value)+3 main-hand and (value)-1 off-hand. The inventory and character record show effective THAC0 12 main-hand and 16 off-hand. Attacks hit on a natural 5 main-hand, or a natural 9 off-hand. All as expected.
With Bless (+1 to hit), the inventory and character record show effective THAC0 11 main-hand and 15 off-hand. Attacks show such results as "Attack roll 4 + 3 = 7 : Hit". The Bless effect seems to apply to base THAC0, rather than as a to-hit bonus.
With Chant (+1 to hit), the inventory screen and character record show effective THAC0 12 main-hand and 16 off-hand. Attacks show such results as "Attack roll 4 + 4 = 8 : Hit". The Chant effect seems to apply as a to-hit bonus, but doesn't display properly on the character record or inventory screen.
So ... it works, but it doesn't display correctly on the character record and inventory screens.
Alright, I wasn't aware of it being posted in the wrong section, i just clicked new discussion. Good that it's been moved then.
