SoD content in BG2EE?

With the new ownership, I was wondering if there are any plans to put some of the SoD content in BG2?

There are no such plans. We'll continue supporting the EEs, but expecting big new features is unrealistic at this point.

I think by content, they meant the multiple items that are in SoD that could be moved to BG2EE via some minor quests, or even just loot on existing mobs. There is a lot of alignment limited/shaman/specific class items that are very useful in SoD that could be useful in BG2EE and beyond.
