I checked on smartphone and didn't scroll down.
    My fault.

Regarding to the components that are marked as "Alpha", what is to be expected when installing them? Any inconvenience with other Mods, or is it just that you didn't test their difficulty level yet?

What about the "improved" components that for example SCS allready covers, like Irenicus or Bhodi? Do they just override each other, or would you expect issues to arise, if I try them together?

    Thx.

I haven't had an opportunity to test some of these yet and those marked alpha are net new for this release. I'd expect difficulty may need to be tweaked or things may not fire right.

This is a more challenging alternative to SCS. Choose one or the other. A fun side note, on a timer it took me less than 3 minutes to install all of tactics remix vs the hour + of SCS.

Yeah, I noticed that too. It's about 3 hours on my System or one and a half for let's say miH - e&q.
    Well done :)

I'll try it anyway, since I appreciate all of your work.

v0.9.1-alpha was just published and should clean up a number of various bugs with the initial release.

I've previously asked similar questions about other components, but are your additions for Abazigal's Lair and Sendai's Enclave intended to be complementary to or mutually exclusive with SCS's changes to these areas?

All tactical components are exclusive as Tactics Remix is now covering the whole of BG2EE (BGEE & full EET is on the way). Choose either SCS or Tactics Remix for the ai and tactical components.

Tactics Remix advances to v0.9.3-alpha with the following enhancements:
    - Updated Copper Coronet component to improve guards in the Copper Coronet and the Slaver Compound.
    - Updated Torgal and Troll regen to correct a bug impacting a select number of items and spells.
    - Updated Kalah and Irenicus Dungeon Ogre Magi.
    - Updated Party vs. Party encounters to include the fights in the Den of Seven Vales and Sewers fights (Athkatla).

Will Party vs. Party also include the Bounty Hunter Encounters of BG1? Maybe for future updates?

It is very much in development, but it will encompass all the bounty hunter group encounters in BGEE. I'm also going to toy with adding some net new bounty hunter encounters to engage the player when traveling.

Sounds good. Looking forward to try it.

Morpheus, would you expect any inconveniences between the Celestial component of your Mod and Caedwyrs P&PCelestials?

I honestly don't know and haven't tested. I update some existing items and update existing celestial cre files. I then replace their base scripts. It will likely not work together, but I could be wrong.

Ok. It might be the same for your planar sphere component and the old planar sphere/enhanced mage stronghold mod then.

Guess I'll have to find out myself. Let‘s see what happens.
For the Celestials, I would say it‘s most likely, that both will overwrite each other.

    Got some warnings on my latest EET Setup;

    Random City and Wilderness Encounters:

    and Tougher Sendai:

    WeiDu Log attached.

I have to say, that I installed the SCS Variants of random encounters as well. Might be some conflict between both of them, since your usual advice is to use one or the other.

    btw, two more questions,

Has the "Maulers of Undermountain" component been moved to "Party vs. Party"?

And does your Spell Overhaul need to be installed before smarter Mages? Because I thought about setting it up late after most other Spell Tweaks Mods, but did the smarter Mages component already.

SCS would change what these scripts are looking for, so that is the likely culprit.

Yes, Maulers of Under mountain was moved to Party vs Party.

Tactics Remix should installed after spell tweak mods, and the tactics spell changes need to occur before the smarter mages component.

I have gotten Tactics Remix in a releasable state covering all of BGEE, BG2EE, and EET (minus touching Beamdog added content). I have fairly large EET modlist I'm running to test Tactics Remix in and making some tweaks and cleaning up some items. I expect to have Tactics Remix available in the next few days in an alpha state.

As alpha, there are going to be parts I haven't completely tested. I also have a placeholder in for the Sarevok fight so I can make more refined tweaks and add multiple phases to it when I have a chance to get there with a party and put it through the wringer.

Are you still using components of SCS? Or would you suggest leaving it completely out if doing a full setup of tactics remix?
Could you provide a WeiDU log for your EET Setup together with TR?

There are a few SCS components in using (non-ai/tactics based), and I will provide my weidu log when I release the full alpha of Tactics Remix. I'm doing some play testing of Tactics Remix now and cleaning up any bugs I'm finding.

Thank you, I appreciate that. I‘m a bit lost now between my usual setup and the things your tactics mod provides, and eager to see how you‘re setting things up.

    Will try ASAP. :)

Tarnesh even at tactical setting is insane, level 5 with minor spells deflection, protection from normal missiles, mirror images, blur, protection from fire, protection from evil, summon monsters, and a contingency with stoneskin !
Luckily I had the TA Eldoth at the crossway component, because even with Imoen, Montaron, Xzar and Eldoth it was a hard fight.
Nice surprise, I'm eager to see the next one. Silke maybe ?

Silke uses the old script in the version you have. Hotfix and version 0.9.8.2-alpha should be dropping today which will improve her using my new script along with a host of other tweaks/modifications.

Nice ! Install was indeed faster than SCS by the way.
So to be sure, Tactics Remix should be installed after tweaks and EET End, and before skills and abilities ?

PLEASE NOTE: If you are running a v0.9.8.x-alpha prior to this release, there is a hotfix that will bring your version of the mod up to the current version. This can be safely installed during an existing playthrough.

Yes. Still testing, but it seems more stable to have tweaks mods (subtleD, aTweaks, Tweaks Anthology, and Klatu) installed prior to Tactics Remix. Fully safe to install Tactics Remix after EET_END, and Skills and Abilities should be installed after it.

    Thank you. :-)
What about Artisan's Houserule Tweaks pack ?

    The hotfix installed flawlessly.

Concentration checks is a game changer at early levels already, the wand of magic missile is no longer enough to interrupt divine casters easily. Time to try new tactics !

I'm sure it will be fine going with the other tweak packs listed. I don't happen to use that one and forgot to list it above.

This release is very much alpha, so please let me know any bugs or things not working right or that could be tweaked.
