    Hi, @JuliusBorisov,

    Hoping you can help.

I had purchased NwN:EE through the Beamdog store. When I go to my account, I do not have an option to obtain a key for any other store other than Steam. The instructions note to click the green button; however, there are only 2 blue buttons, one for Steam and one for my CD key.

I would like to use GOG going forward but am not seeing a way to obtain a key for that platform.

    Thanks.

I had the same issue CD Key was not accepted by GOG. I contacted beamdog support (Aspyr Support) and they supplied a GOG code which worked.

This has been found only during the last working day of 2025, so we'll fix the issue in 2026 after the holiday break. In the meantime, I've sent you the NWN GOG key now via a PM.
We absolutely intend to keep creating new games in the future.

What about updates for BG:EE/SOD/BGII:EE? Are those in the realm of possibility or should we put that idea to rest?

Those are coming, but more details after the holidays.

I hope that means patch 2.7 is in the works. I’m sure @CamDawg and the fine folks who worked on the EE Fixpack would gladly “donate” their fixes, and then Beamdog could fix the engine bugs that reported over at the EE Fixpack forum :)

Yes, I'd be happy to get EEFP stuff included in future releases. Many of the first fixes still reference their original ticket numbers, and I can pop back onto Slack for anything and everything.

And if we don't have QA time to verify and test everything, the code fixes thread is a collection of engine bugs. Getting just these addressed would be massive as these are things that modders can't do anything about.

@JuliusBorisov I went to the Beamdog store to redeem GOG keys for my games, but the GOG icon for BG:EE is grayed out and says the game is not available on that platform. What should I do? All other games I could redeem no problem.

Same, I ended up having to buy a new copy on GOG. Kinda disappointing it didn't work.

Hi all! We've been away due to the holiday break.

The GOG key issue is because we ran out of GOG keys. Good news is that is fixable, and once we add more, the button will be available. We will send the request to GOG today.

The GOG NWN key issue is now fixed.

    Thanks, @JuliusBorisov !

Now that the holidays are, alas, in the past—are you going to announce patch plans soon? I’m not asking to put pressure on you or the team, mind you; I’m just excited at the prospect of these games receiving more updates :)

I wanted to reinstall BG2 for new EET run when i found out about its closure. Which platform is easier for modding now - steam or gog? I heard about some DLC merger which wasn't necessery for games from beamdog client.

GOG codes loaded now. Anyone blocked can now try again, and the codes will be available. Thanks for your patience!

We'll share the details when we're ready. But we never confirmed it would be a huge-scale patch. Including EEFP stuff or not is still TBD. The initial and most important intent here is to provide support for these games, e.g., keeping them updated so that they work on mobile.

Hi and happy new year everyone.

I initially bought the game and many dlc trhough the beamdog client. I was able to use the GOG code to add NWN:EE to my library, without changing my installation folder (i don't want to use GOG Galaxy for christ sake!). Then i bought a new DLC through GOG (Doom of Icewind Dale) and then it becomes a nightmare, because it seems that i cannot install this dlc (no game folder directory detected). I dont want to reinstall everything form scratch if possible, becaus it is from my point of view a lot of time spent just for (the inconvenience of) having the game installed in a GOG folder instead of the current User/.../Beamdog Library folder. Is there a way to simply install the new GOG DLC as usual in the Beamdog Library folder? or do i need to make a reinstallation from scratch of the game and of all DLC from GOG with the risk of losing some personal, unconventional modding of the game in the process?

BtW i am e little bit disappointed having not a lot of time for video game, playing exclusively to NWWN:EE, and i don't want to spent that time in unsavoury, unnecessary software installation process stuff.

    Thanks a lot by advance

You're probably better off asking GOG support. I don't know exactly what GOG is having an issue with, but they should be able to help you with their client to get that working.

    Hi again,
I managed to solve my issue with the installation of a new dlc for nwn:ee on gog. But now i found out that i have no gog codes for the dlc previously bought on the beamdog store. I have only a gog code for nwn:ee. DLC codes on the beamdog store are only for steam, not gog.
Is it the same problem as before with gog codes? How to solve the situation ?
    Thanks a lot.

Any help would be appreciated since without gog keys for nwn:ee DLC i virtually lose the ownership of those. Maybe its better if i submit this to client support?
