Kel-Garas Dialogue/Combat bug.

I've started Neverwinter Nights EE and having a blast but I ran into an issue I can't seem to fix.
You see; I am at the stage in the Undretride DLC where Kel-Garas speaks to you at the temple.. I am able to enter the dialogue just fine and select a few options but after a few seconds he just engages combat automatically without my input.
This keeps happening even when I backtracked to several saves or when I left party member/familiar outside. I also talked with him naked to see if that was the issue but no.
It's pretty annoying since his dialogue seems interesting and since I am playing a Chaotic Neutral character, I wanna know what he has to say.
If anyone has any solutions, please share them here! I will be most appreciative.

He will not speak with the following classes:
Paladins
Clerics that are not evil aligned
Druids
