    Great Karlini is probably bugged. If you give the book to Ignatz after killing Mulahey, he wil not spawn in Lion's Way and the quest will be broken. So, you must give him the book before chapter 3 or just choose the payment option.

    @InKal darn, I notice now that 4.3 didn't fix the bug because I edited the wrong tp2 entry. I'm afraid Ygnazius is gone drinking ale with Biff the Understudy in your game - will definitely be fixed in the next version.

    There's a small issue with Ygnatz' quest (heavy spoilers):
    After doing his original quest and meeting him at the Lion's Way, when he gets abducted by the demons, but you manage to free him: If you click on him really fast, before Karlini initiates dialogue, Ygnatz responds to you like it's the very first time you meet him.

    Also, he has Bracers AC 6 on him, which can easily be pickpocketed very early in the game! And during the questline:
    You can pickpocket him again for a second set of bracers at the Lion's Way. After he's abducted, if you free him, you can pickpocket him and Karlini for a third and fourth set of bracers.

    Maybe give him Bracers of AC 8 instead? Those are more common.

    Neither of the assassins in the tavern dropped the key to the warehouse for me, I've had some assassins attack my character and dragslon has already left the undercellar by disappearing. I appear to be stuck

    I have done The Serpents of Abbathor Quest and have retrieved the Dwarven Artifact from the bottom of the Nashkel Mines.

    What next? I assumed that it had to be returned to Wostok. He's not at the Temple of Helm. :(

    You are right, and he sends you to the mayor for your reward. However, because I didn't speak to people before going down the mines, the mayor wasn't there to give me the reward.

    It could have been worse. I don't need either gold or experience.

    I just encountered the same thing, no key from the dwarves in the tavern.
    I use 4.3 version of this mod.

    I'm not into the details, but I think it's more reply options or other reactions from chracters. For example, if the PC is a dwarf, the Snakes of Abathor dwarves react a lot more open. etc.
    You shold be able to solve all quests, though, there is nothing which can only be solved for certain class/race, just a greater variety of paths.

    So... what exactly am I to do with the dwarven artifact after I finished the snakes of Abathor quest? Same goes for the lugosch's diary. I already have so many items that are really of no use that I'd like to start getting rid of some of the junk. Is there a use for it or is it planned to be a use for it for BG2 part of the quest if the modder decides to make it?

    There was a part 2 planned but like so many times, RL came in between so I doubt it will be made. There is no further use for the quest items from the Snakes of Abbathor quest, at least not from Ascalon's Questpack and any mod I know of.

    There is two paths in this quest: you help Wostok until the fight in the warehouse. In this case, he will be on the area of the mines when you go there. Other path is you work for Draglon until the warehouse. In that case it is clear Wostok won't be around any more.
    @Wise_Grimwald which version of the mod did you play?
    If you expect Wostok to be at the temple after clearing the mines, then something didn't go as planned.

    Also, these are Emerson's lines after the PC tells that the mines are cleared. There is no mentioning of going to the mayor:

    Regarding the warehouse key, it can be received the following:
    1. good path: you help Wostok. First he sends you after Draglon in teh Undercellar, who disappears and sends some assassins after you that attack outside the Blushing Mermaid. Wostok is in the temple and then sends you to the nameless tavren in northeast BG to meet Jenna and Jassir to get the dwarven artefact. But there is a fight with cultists who stole the artefact, and they should drop the warehouse key.
    2. evil path: you help Draglon. First you kill Wostok for him, then he sends you after Jenna and Jassir in the nameless tavern in northeast BG. You can either pretend you work for Wostok or fight the two. Jenna gives or drops a key to a container on the same level, inside is the dwarven artefact. You bring the artefact to Draglon in the Undercellars and he gives you the warehouse key.

    We tried to reproduce the "no warehouse key is dropped" from the cultists inside the nameless tavern with Jenna and Jassir, but it worked for us all the time.

    @Emardon_Lareous there is a dead quest end in the current version if you anger Draglon in the Undercellar before taking on Wostok's request to kill Draglon. For other combinations the quest should be finishable. What was your quest path until you angered Draglon? The assassin attack in front of the Blushing Mermaid happens always after Draglon disappears and has nothing to do with the warehouse key. Depending on the quest status, you should be able to go to Wostok in the temple after that to proceed with the quest. (Unless you didn't meet Wostok yet, then you hit a dead end because Wostok will send you after Draglon who is now gone - will be fixed in the next mod version.)

    @Trouveur with "dwarves in the tavern", do you mean the cultists who killed Jenna and Jassir when you go to them for Wostok? Like I always posted above, the assassins in front of the Blushing Mermaid are not related to the warehouse key.

    Ascalon's Questpack updates to v5.0 with several improvements:

    -The component Serpent of Abbathor has a more helpful journal management and a second install choice which brings a real ending to the quest in BG1. See the readme for details.

    -The component Jumper has a second install option that places Ugh and Jumper outside the cave (for compatibility with The Artisan's Shadow Magic mod).
