I've just put together another version of The Stone of Askavar which will be released shortly. I translated the readme page into Spanish and another one for German using online translation tools. You might want to check it over when it is released as it will be different from the previous version.

Finally had time to put a new version together. Even managed to add a little side quest. Apart from EET I tested it on everything else.

Cool! Thanks for updating this gem of a mod. I'll be sure to include it in my next run. B)

My thieves can not find the traps in Bluebell Wood and around Dystra's Tower.
    Has this been addressed?
The traps in Bluebell Woods are just irritating, especially given how sparsely populated it is, there's a lot of running from corner to corner, and not being able to even find the traps (with FT 125%, no less) even if they cannot be disabled is very irritating
Dystra's Tower traps are much worse because they damage my weaker members A LOT
Even being able to see them - like the finale traps - would be tolerable
    Thanks

The traps in Bluebell wood (ARS002) and the wooded areas in Dystra's Watch Tower (ARS005) I've changed their flags to be detectable. The ones around the pillars are undetectable. Just stay clear of the pillars.

Hi, I updated the encoding for one file in Russian, so the mod can be install properly in Russian. Can you accept the pull request, please? https://github.com/red-carnelian/The-Stone-of-Askavar/pull/2

Version 2.6 will not install, the only other mod I have beforehand is DLC Merge. Rolling back to 2.2 has no problems though. Just now trying 2.4 which also works fine.

I've uploaded the 2.6 version again up to github. It installs on my install.

This mod is also EET compatible.

I mean is that this mod can be installed after EET is installed, rather than needing to install this mod to BGEE before EET installation and then integrating it with the EET mod.

The mod doesn't have native support for EET so it needs to be installed before installing EET. https://k4thos.github.io/EET-Compatibility-List/EET-Compatibility-List.html

I understand that the mod currently doesn't natively support EET and needs to be installed beforehand. Would it be possible to consider adding native EET support in the future? This would be really helpful for those of us using EET. Thank you for your time and effort!

Hello, during our actual testing, we found that currently, when installing, the Chinese text prompts in the Windows console appear as garbled text. Additionally, in the soa-core.tpa file, we noticed that entries related to log text reference setup.tra, but it seems this file has been renamed to setup-soa.tra now. This might cause some issues.

After testing, we split the current setup-soa.tra/setup-win32.tra files into two parts: install.tra contains entries @189~@238, and setup.tra contains entries @10000~@10024. Both files use ANSI encoding. We also made the following modifications to the tp2 file: lines 56 to 57 are as follows:
    ACTION_DEFINE_ARRAY soa_reload BEGIN setup END
    ACTION_DEFINE_ARRAY soa_noconvert BEGIN install END

(Does the noconvert setting seem to have no effect?)

And below, each language section was adjusted similarly, like this:
    LANGUAGE ~Simplified Chinese~
             ~schinese~
             ~soa/Language/schinese/install.tra~

With these changes, everything now seems to be working properly. If needed, I can upload the modified files.

Currently, the latest version of Weidu (release 24900) requires text displayed in the Windows console to be encoded in UTF-8. Therefore, wouldn't it be a better option to save all tra files in UTF-8 encoding? And only perform encoding conversions when necessary during installation in the vanilla game? Similar to how it's done in BG1UB?
