I tried the newest version (1.16) and the NPC bar works. The PC effects still don't show up. Finally, after about a minute or two, the game crashed after viewing one or two NPC bars.
Released new version with polish translation and added one more missing string to some lua files.
Russian translation update for Infinity UI++
Good afternoon! A couple of days ago, I quoted you on the forum and posted an updated Russian translation with the letter "e" corrected to "ё". You haven't included it in the release yet. Could you please tell me if you missed my message or decided not to edit the existing localization for now?
Pecca, can you please let us know if you are investigating the below issues or if it beyond the scope of the mod at this point?
- Game crashing when clicking on the NPC bar portraits
- PC spell effects not working at all
- The EEex timer module bars show up on the bottom right of the screen with modern UI

Thanks again for your amazing work!
-I investigate the game crashing
-PC effects should work, you must allow them in UI++ settings
-timer module for modernUI should be updated on EEex side, I sent a pull request.

Thank you! For some reason, the PC effects (round timer icons above portaits) don't work even when enabled in the UI++ settings.

I cannot reproduce this. PC effects work for me on fresh install with latest EEex and latest Infinity UI, with the PC effects option enabled in UI++ settings. Do the NPC effects work for you (you must allow it in NPC bar options)? Is there anyone else with this issue?
I noticed a small glitch when playing the german version on IWD. When you enter the spell menu, there are strange infos written where the spell level should be, like names of creatures and such;

Hi Pecca, so when I loaded a game where my party seems to be in a dungeon, the spell effects work. However, when I start a completely new game, select mage as my character and cast a spell in candlekeep as soon as the game starts, the icons don't show up.
Edit: After more testing, it seems that Candlekeep is the only problematic area where the PC spell effects don't work. Once I left candlekeep, the PC spell effects started working.
Is it possible to change the number of portraits shown on the selection screen? Let's say, if I want to add some more males and females?
If so, how do I do this?
Thanks for adding in the import from save feature!
Is there a possibility to reintroduce the feature of sorting the journal entries like in the original games? I think you were able to sort the journal by date as well as by name. I used that pretty frequently at the time (especially when the journal is getting pretty full), but as far as I see it the UI doesn't allow that anymore.
Even unfinished, I'm enjoying the UI with the bg2 skin a lot and I'm using it for my current game. I did a couple of edits according to my personal preferences to use until the next version and I'd like to share .
I de-saturated the blue menu icons and added a toggle for the resizable message box:
I'd forgotten that I made some changes to the dialogue screen as well (smaller portrait, more space between text and top border, moved portrait and buttons slightly away from edges), these are already in v1 but I'd forgotten about them. I'm pretty sure these are all the changes I've done:
Thanks again for the great mod, Pecca!
Edit: Added screenshot of dialogue screen as well.
I love it! Which of the files do I need to get only the recolored buttons? (I'm on the latest version tho)
@ClawsTheOne:
Its possible this is an issue that came up between more recent version of EEex and Infinity UI. Check your console (the command window that EEex opens when you run InfinityLoader.exe) and see if you see these spamming messages: https://github.com/Bubb13/EEex/issues/88
@xiaoleiwen:
You can't open the EEex Options menu?

I think you can just copy the two bam files and put into your override folder. I just had a quick test so I may not detect any issue (if any).
The file nanomer.bmp in the content-fbp directory uses an incorrect filename. The correct filename should be nanomenr.bmp, which is currently causing Anomen's full-body portrait to fail to display in the equipment screen.
In the BG1 and BG2 themes (I haven't checked the others), the icons for rooms, item sales, identification, and rumors with innkeepers and priests are swapped.
Released new version with anomen portrait fix and store buttons mismatch.
@Etamin I cannot reproduce this. Cheatmenu is skinned. I only noticed a problem with wrongly skinned travel/create button in Improved Cheat Menu of Reveal Hidden Gameplay Options Mod. Do you mean that?
As I said this windows is skinned (you can see bg1 skin of cheat menu in screenshots in the OP).
What game, what other mods do you have, can you give me a screenshot?
Does anyine else have this issue?
Playing BG EE and I've noted twice that the cursor sometimes disappears when exiting the inventory screen, and to get it to reappear you have to click on one of the character portraits
Occasionally when breaking apart a stack, if I try to drop say a potion into another characters inventory the potion will sometimes just vanish into oblivion instead of going to that character's inventory. Nowhere to be found\
edit: hitting escape and closing out of a store seems to frequently stop that area's music from playing again and it doesn't always restart
Hey @Pecca, I just want to congratulate you on the 1.0 release and thank you for the absolutely incredible work you've done on this mod.
I was one of those IE fans who were very, very skeptical about the EE's -- I stuck to playing the OG's for years, even after the EE's were all patched up and in a state that was, more or less, begrudgingly acceptable to me, and one of the biggest reasons for this was the UI's Beamdog released them with...
I'm a visual guy, the original UI designs of BG, BG2 and IWD have always been huge nostalgia factors for me, and I hated the EE UI's (still do). Of course there were other UI mods, and some of them got close to scratching that nostalgia itch, but it wasn't until this mod came along that I truly felt I could let go of the originals and accept the EE's as the "default" versions of these games that played such a formative role in my years as a teenager.
I simply cannot go back to not being able to see my entire parties inventory at once. It's such an enormous upgrade. I have no idea what the purpose or idea behind the NPC bar is but I'm sure it'll be equally revolutionary for me. The bestiary is such a sweet addition too. What an awesome UI mod

There should be no problem.

I just have a little question this time around: is it possible to revert the dice rolling for chargen to vanilla EE on the user's end?

Ah, sorry. I forgot to update
