The War of Bloom and Rot is a quest mod that introduces a new quest of a significant size. Explore twenty new areas and face powerful enemies as you try to return from the underground system of caves. To leave, you may need to stop a war between the myconids and another, powerful entity--hungry and with a plan of eradication of everything and everyone on her way.
The quest begins after you find Krilag, kill him, and read a journal that he has. It shall reveal a new area, and your adventure should start there. The quest was created with experienced adventurers in mind - while it is possible to set off to the new area right after Krilag's death, it may be easier after leaving the Wyrm's Tooth area.
Special thanks to @argent77 and Soul for their help while working on this.

I've enjoyed all your other mods, so I'm sure this will be a treat as well!
I've already downloaded and installed it, but I have planned a playthrough of Icewind Dale I & II this coming winter; so it's great to know I have something new to explore on my playthrough.
Furthermore, I am moving to Greenland in the beginning of the new year, so my new surroundings will be perfect for these two games!
I truly hope you'll like it
It's a new month, there is a new Lava mod!
No, seriously, I bow to your productivity.
Congratulations!
v1.1 is up! It includes a French translation by @deratiseur
I also like the different kinds of new enemies and the boss fights at the end. Encounters and Bossfight could have been a little bit tougher for me, but as usual, that depends. I'm playing on heavy modded and so had lots of experience and items when starting the quest. And I'm also used to SCS and Tactics. So difficulty might be quite ok for non "tactical" players.
The only suggestion I would make is, to maybe add some kind of shop to the area, so that you can sell the vast amount of items, you're getting during the battles in the caves. I was lacking a bag of holding and had therefore a bit of a hassle managing all the stuff.
Apart from that, great Mod
Yeah, I am not someone who enjoys too difficult fights and I never use SCS or Tactics myself, and it was also tested by someone who prefers the original difficulty.
While I know this may be a bit upsetting for some, the lack of real shop is intended. You are away from normal people, those you encounter aren't really interested in items, neither, so it is up for you to decide which you are going to take and which you'll need to leave behind. You probably won't be able to keep all the +1/+2 items and sell them later on. Playing with my mods can already get you somewhat rich and I wanted to limit that at least a tiny bit here.
I'm glad you still enjoyed it!
