    @Pecca Hello, Mod Author, I'm a player from China. Thank you so much for your UI; it's truly amazing.
    I have a problem now. I installed your UI a few months ago, and it was version 0.96 at that time. It made the game feel brand new. Recently, I saw there was a version update, so I installed the new version. However, the text on the character interface has gone blank. All other interfaces are working fine. I've tried several versions of 1.0+, but the issue persists. So, I reinstalled version 0.96, and everything works fine again.
    I uninstalled the old version first and then installed the new one. I really can't figure out what went wrong. I'm reaching out to you to see if I made a mistake somewhere or if the old version wasn't completely removed. Thank you.

    先安装TROW的中文修正补丁,然后安装EE Fixpack(Alpha 3以上版本),最后再装最新版infinityUI++。步骤不能漏不能乱,否则就会出这个问题。

    They are definitely compatible and work together, at least on my EET install.

    Can you post me your weide.log please? Maybe there is something with my install order

    P.S. In my game I can see the costs and buff information when buying the inn room resting but after the sleep there are no changes or buffs....
    P.S.2 I have the latest Infinity UI, don't know why it shows 1.15 version in the log

    Thanks, turned out the SCS mod was uninstalled on its own after all while updating some other mods....

    Yes, this UI mod refreshes the whole game interest for me as well.
    I had the same issue with Subrace Mod, I have posted about it in the past and was told that the Subrace mod itself needs to provide the extra images etc in order to work with a custom UI.
    I recently found out of Talents of Faerun mod from the creator of SCS that also includes a Subrace mod, but it most likely not work with custom UI as well. Hopefully they incorporate them someday.

    I, too, cannot seem to alter anything.... Does Infinity UI++ shortcircuit alterations to UI.MENU or any other adjustments to UI made with F11?
    I have a 5k2k monitor, and I'd love to enlarge my portraits without touching any other UI elements of this excellent UI mod. :smiley:

    This is a follow up reply, so you get a notification. In .\override\my__RDR.lua comment out the following lines to fix the issue:
    raceIDS:free()
    ...
    classIDS:free()
    

    Those two structs are garbage collected so the frees shouldn't be called and cause heap corruption which crashes the game

    This is a follow up reply, so you get a notification. In .\override\my__RDR.lua comment out the following lines to fix the issue:
    raceIDS:free()
    ...
    classIDS:free()
    

    Those two structs are garbage collected so the frees shouldn't be called and cause heap corruption which crashes the game

    Ya'll gotta change the copy under the override folder.

    For example, to shift the portraits right further to account for the first character's eeex timer being off screen (while hug hud is enabled + modern ui) I did the following modifications in override\UI.MENU:8859

    Yes and yes, unless there's some other additional reason it crashes. It seemed to make it stable for me during testing thus far

    Because that really helped and fixed the random crashes for me and I could even click the npc bars without crashing.
    But now I am experiencing random crashes when entering / loading areas. (which I never had before)

    Originally I tested with BGEE and didn't see any issues there.

    I installed BG2EE with eeex + Infinity UI. and ran around with prior save characters to various different areas, I am unable to replicate any crashes on my side with two lines commented out. I also checked memory utilization to make sure it wasn't somehow skyrocketing it and it wasn't.

    Just to clarify, you modified the version under override, right? Not the one under infinity_ui?

    I looked into the crash location and have an update that may help you. The code appears to be incorrectly reading the sprite item address as a 32-bit pointer instead of 64-bit pointer even though the math is written for x64 types (and appears like it wouldn't work on x86 builds as a result). I believe what may be happening on your machine is that the upper 32-bits of the 64-bit pointers happen to be non-zero; whereas, during my testing they happen to be zero, so I don't get invalid memory accesses.

    Try switching the lines with EEex_Read32(address) to EEex_Read64(address) in the 3 different locations where it is found in override\my_CRE.lua (line 26, line 44, line 62)

    There should only be three with the variable specifically named "address". These specifically try to grab the CItem address: https://github.com/search?q=repo:Renegade0/InfinityUI EEex_Read32(address&type=code

    The other calls to the function aren't trying to grab addresses but different sized fields. They appear to be grabbing the correct sized data if you check the structures they are accessing (CResHelper, Item_Header_st, Spell_Header_st
