do we know anything about surprise which was mentioned by Trent Oster for this who pre-pre ordered BGEE?

    New area maybe? Or possibly an exclusive item?
    Or like the collecters edition of bg2, maybe there is a new merchant which sells several exclusive items?

    I heard a rumor that it's a coupon for one free shoe-shine at the Edmonton Airport*.

    *that expired in August. (It's the thought that counts.)

    Edit: I could see them doing it anyway and just making some other way for mac / tablet users to get it because that's just how Overhaul rolls.

    Supposedly that actually used to happen when BG was originally in development. They had to tone down Gorion.

    Tone down Gorion AND autoscript him to die. I've had playthroughs where Sarevok didn't land a single hit before Gorion kicked the bucket.

    For all that's worth, I understand that Gorion has to die for the story, but I really wish the battle was much more epic, much more.

    It has been replaced for all those that pre-ordered with the video "Il Pulcino Pio".

    @revaar I think a great deal of the BG PC population just sees it as a privilege that we even get to have the game and that we should be thankful for that. But I agree with you, the PC gamers getting a reward for pre ordering is stupid.

    Its not a reward for pre-ordering, its a reward because of the unexpected and last-minute delay for the pre-orderers.
