    Is it Santa?

Now that I look at it, he certainly looks like a gnomish relative. And their names do both begin with S...

@Sanctifer: You nailed it! Others will be uploaded over the next few days, and the updated version of the mod will also include two NPCs that were cut from the original release.

Well the DSotSC logo on the portrait was a big clue :p

Just out of curiosity where do you get those portraits? Who makes them?

For some reason though my mind is thinking Robert Downey Jr. for portrait 2/9

    That's B.S. :)

    @CuChoinneach
Why? I could actually also see the resemblance to Robert Downey Jr and Joseph Fiennes (from the movie Shakespeare in Love).

Hey @Isandir; you should post a video of you making one of these portraits. would be a good guild on doing extremely well done "Baldurized" style portraits.

I was just about to ask the same question Paheej. Can you give a tutorial of how they are made?
  • PaheejPaheej Member Posts: 126
@Isandir, I figured as much - rather than a straight up tutorial I was just suggesting you capture a video of you doing the portrait. No explanation needed. That way the rest of us could breakdown what you are doing.

Making actual tutorials is a long and involved process. Typically it requires a whole lot of post-process image editing, explanation, and "what-if" jazz (I write standard operating procedures and do process improvement for my day job so I'm aware how much work goes into it).

Regardless the portraits look great, keep the inspirational work.

I'm still working on getting those two new (actually, they were in the original but got cut) NPCs created and once I do... @Isandir will have them for you to see!

Nice portraits! I like Keira :-)
Can't wait for the mod. You guys doing a great job!!!

    I have a question:
Are you going to add some new NPCs and new interesting quests?
I know it was a long time ago when I played the mod, and if I am not mistaken - all NPC were good alignet (I may be wrong, sorry for that).
IMo it's the bigest disease of many mods and npc mods - almost all npcs are good alignet, and if there was an evil npc mod - then generally with a poor personality.

I've been asked to help out with areas, and I will as my time allows:)

Great work on those portraits! Love em!

Yes very hot. Usually I don't have bards in my party. Here's an exception.

    Very nice.
DSotSC is very fun indeed, and dusting it off is truly a nice idea.

Are you also re-working the balance aspects of the mod? The original version introduced a lot of new objects that many would consider OP, especially considering how easy the original campaign already is with the BG2 engine.
Also, will you expand the banters of the NPCs?
