What's your best stats roll?

HeadbombHeadbomb Member Posts: 213
I just started vanilla BG2, and wanted to make a character. I tend to play with the first 80+ roll for my PC. But this one I got upon the very first roll (after stats re-assignment).

STR 18/99
DEX 17
CON 19
INT 14
WIS 10
CHA14

Total 92 with a 18/99. Jesus.

93 on my sorceress :D I don't recall the exact distribution, but she had high INT/WIS/CHA and decent DEX.

    STR: 18/70
    DEX: 17
    CON: 17
    INT: 12
    WIS: 13
    CHA: 18

Highest roll I have ever seen was a 95 on a pureclass thief...a 95 that I mistakenly skipped over. Ended up playing that thief with an 84 overall.

    I've had a 96, a 95, 2 94s and many others over 90. I usually play multiclass characters.

I rolled over a 100 with a paladin before. Then accidentally clicked passt it. T_T

99 on my Archer! Rangers never fail to just roll easy 90's.

I'm giving myself a break from the Random No-Reload challenge to play one of my favorite characters of all time: Jaryd Gorionson, Calishite Fighter dual to mage.

Opened up the abilities screen to 91. That's my best no-roll roll I've ever had.

    Good grayshus me!
There's a 91, or roundabout, as my first BG: EE save...it was a human Fighter who dual wielded MURDERTOOLS.
In the past, I've gotten some pretty outrageous rolls. I'll usually just stick with the first roll in excess of 80 and leave it at that, though.

96 on an elven ranger was the best I've had. Had a 92 & 94 but that's all.

@Starlily It works in a Mac, you just have to turn on the debug mode. Just add this to your Baldur.ini file:

    'Program Options', 'Debug Mode', '1',

Here is the best build to my recollection. He is as exactly as I rolled him, except for starting with a 15 in Charisma, which is now a 16 because of the Tome he read at the Gnoll Fortress.image

Discovered I was already in debug mode. Apparently my son did it when he set the game up for me. Not sure I approve of all stats being that high, seems like massive cheating to me. +8 points to whatever you happen to roll up would be better, just my opinion. I'll go back to endless rolling to get 90+ numbers. :D

The current holder of my best manually rolled stats is a Necromancer... With 13, 18, 16, 18, 18, 13 at a total of 96.

You can lower your scores until you get something you like.

The one exception being Strength if you wanted an 18/xx that wasn't /00, but otehrwise it works fine. I sometimes use it if I'm rerolling a character that got a reasonably high 90+ score and can't be bothered to sit there for 16 years getting it again.

In 16 years he must have got at least one straight 18 roll...
