What hobbies do you (or would you) like to practises in the Baldur's Gate Trilogy?

Everyone of us knows that battling numberless enemies, rescuing Damsels in distress, raiding villages to the ground, ect. is quite demanding for both mind and body. But what can we do to replenish the much needed energy for future questing? What changes of scenery does the game offer (or not offer) for us to rest our tired bodies but to still enjoy ourselves?

There are a couple of freetime activities within the games for us and our characters to chill, enjoy some much needed recreation, and forget for a moment the whole Bhaaly thingy going on in Faerûn.

Me? My favourite hobby in the games probably is taking strolls, enjoying the scenery and camp for no particular reason at all. That may be time consuming, but it's still satisfying and refreshing. :)

    I wouldn't mind spending my gold coins at the Copper Coronet strip club. I hear they have some of the most talented dancers on the Sword Coast there. ((;

    Also, reading books and camping does sound relaxing. Not to mention I am sure someone in my party has a closet gambling addiction.

    I'd engage Edwin and Kiser Jhaeri in dialogue for some very syllable intensive work outs. Eventually I would be able to drop witty and excessively verbose word bombs at will!

    That or Madam Nin. ;)

    Sounds like you and Rumar would be excellent friends!

    @Flashburn - aaahh. Voltaire.
    Yes, I know about him. Quite good music, (even though I like "when you are evil" more) but he is a goth. We (denizens of the Underdark) prefer not to talk about them...it's ...ehm... embarrassing.

    Is wenching not an appropriate answer?

    Very well then, I choose barding. Traveling the lands, performing in taverns, winning the hearts of a few dozen women, earning free drinks and board, and meeting new people. Sounds like a dream.

    Sounds more like work to me. :P

    Come to think of it, there's another hobby I'd love to do: bathing. Preferable in hot springs with some booze by my side. Luckily there are already a couple of hot springs ingame. Just the other day I saw a Elder Brain bathing in one!
