We need a function that allows us to get back our previous 2-3 rolls...

I think that would be going to far. I don't even know if I like it adding it up at the bottom.

In Torm's name... why in the world would ANYBODY not like that? What kind of a deranged human being would spit in the face of Helm himself by rejecting such a wonderful gift?????????
It feels to smooth and streamlined. I like bg1 better than bg2 as well. I'm not crazy for sky-high stat rolls, and
Earning to intuitively see a huge roll from a mediocre roll without actually doing the math is part of the game. Or it was, anyway. I'm not say they shouldn't have added it, it nice for rolling up an ok character real quick, and it obviously very popular. But I would have made it an option.

    That was off by default.

And not told anyone about it.

Also it's not a gift. I paid for it, @booinyoureyes‌

I remember way back in the distant past when I was rolling up a P&P character I blew my mind by rolling 3 scores of 18 with my wonderful dice. This was genuinely my first roll each time. I have no idea what the other scores were.

The DM thought it was fantastic - she wasn't into killing us off :)

Once rolled 103 for a Paladin using Tutu. I presume that the chances are identical in EE. Just wondering if it is possible to import a Tutu character into EE. Anyone know?

Completely compatible, unless you had the rebalanced proficiencies from BG2Tweaks.

Thanks for the info Crevs. Here is the jpeg of my roll of 102 today. Did wonder if I had allocated the points as well as I could. This is how the stats were before the BG2 sub-race mod kicked in. That gave a point boost to dexterity and wisdom as I chose svirfneblin.

    Details of the race:
SVIRFNEBLIN: Also known as deep gnomes, the deep gnomes of the Realms are a secretive,
mysterious race. Found in the deepest caverns of the Underdark, the svirfneblin live in
constant fear of slavery or destruction at the hands of dark elves, mind flayers, and
duergar. Deep gnomes are legendary for their ability to handle stone and gems. They have
    grey skin and white hair.
    - ADVANTAGES: +1 to Dexterity, +1 to Wisdom, +20 to Stealth, Magic
Resistance of 50% and +2% every level thereafter to a maximum of 80%, + 1 to hit vs.
kobolds, goblins and hobgoblins, +4 bonus to AC, Mirror Image 1/day, Invisibility 1/day,
    Blur 1/day and Non-detection.
    - DISADVANTAGES: -2 to Charisma, -1 to Constitution and -30% experience modifier.

The -30% modifier and the magic resistance comes under "affects". Hope that when I play with EE that will transfer across also.

I think ive rolled 97 on a dwarven defender. Considering its minimums its my best roll.

Ive rolled 102-103 on paladins but they have so high minimums its not as impressive.

i normally roll 90+ for my chars and i would never use an autoroller etc. Vanilla is the way to go!!

The highest roll I ever got before using the auto roller was 99 on a paladin. The highest I have got even with the auto roller is 99, and I left it running over night on 2 different occasions at max speed, so that is hundreds of thousands if not millions of roles. For enhanced edition at least, 99 seems to be the cap.

Nope. I rolled 100 (with 5 bonus strength) not too long ago on a elf F/M/T. If you let it run long enough you should be able to get all 18s, which I think the odds are 1 in 12 million or so.

Agreed! Wow I NEVER seen a 99 or above and I have rolled A TON of characters. My best roll is a berserker with 95 points and 18/95 STR. I consider that better than my 97 blade and 98 cavalier.

Just rolled my new best. 99 on an elven stalker. (I was intentionally rolling with a high-roll race/class just to see what my best would be. I'll probably go back and do even more rolling with a similar character, to see if I can crack the triple digits)

The highest legit roll I've ever had is 97, I think.

There was also one time when I was making a blackguard for BP2 and he rolled a total of 96, with 18:00 strength.

Finally copped an 18/00 [my first ever] with a 94 pt roll. Wisdom at 14, Charisma at 8 and everything else maxed.

Fortunately, I was in the process of creating an Elvish FMT-Female [~ Skie's portrait and the Default Female voice. All the other voices imho are......wtf. ~] I had chosen to put all her Thief points into Pickpockets as I was planning a play-through with Imoen dualled at Level 5. To be joined eventually by Branwen/Yeslick and Kivan/Coran [after an early completion of Nashkel Mines with Jaheira-Khalid who then exit on Harper business, escorting Volo to Amn].

The reason I chose Pickpockets over Open Locks is my early-game strategy always features Algernon's Cloak and this time, with a True Neutral Charname, [Sascha Smith] was leaning strongly towards hitting up the Nashkel Store [with Vitiare's potion] for an early jump on purchasing Wand of Sleep and Archmage Robes.

The basic plan being a blend of minimal-reloading and RP values. Even though I might not have a guaranteed success with 65% or 85% pickpocketing I would feel more legitimate about what reloading might be necessary. ~Anyhow. Wooot!!

I feel like I've had really bad luck in the aggregate with rolls, because I don't think I've ever managed better than 95 on a roll.

So talented. Such poor life choices.
Agreed! he reluctantly study magic under the fool Gorion, as a prisoner! But one day he will meet Dorn, and that day will be at level 2. Then, he will learn to use the two handed sword and heavy armor. Using his use of wands and scrolls for added destruction! End game stats: 19 str, con, dex, chr, 16 int, and 13 wis.
