    I guess I should update the description because it installs as part of "Conlan sells Magic Clubs". I thought I at one point renamed that to something like "Add Magic Clubs" or something.

    So you are good, the club should be there, I'll correct the text for the next version.

    @smeagolheart, this mod conflicts with IWD NPC 5.0 and Frosty Journey. I'm not sure about other mods, but with these two there is text strings replacement. A lot. For example: names of IWD NPC heroes displays as text strings from bonus merchants and bonus merchants names and replics are replaced with kit description of Frosty Journey kits. Both in 1.3 and 1.4 versions

    I think this may be an issue of not doing a fully clean install after the patch update, or mage just bad install order. I'm using the mods described here (note the order):

    I've noticed one or two text issues... but literally only one or two, and nothing important. (I'm not playing with the NPCs though, so I haven't seen their dialogue.)

    yes that is true. If you apply the patch it will hose everything up with text and you'll have to install all the mods over again and start a new game I think.

    @smeagolheart, @subtledoctor no, my install was clean on GoG version 1.4... wait a little. I will reinstall in order of subtledoctor and post here my result (i had copied the last weidu log for any case)

    Your game install might have been clean, but were your mods clean? If they have "backup" folders inside the mod folders then they might not install correctly.

    For best results, you want to uninstall mods before patching. Or else, delete your mods from the game folder, and also delete weidu.log and weidu.conf, and reinstall them from the freshly downloaded archives.

    I deleted the whole folder)) Every time. Now I start new game. For the first look all is correct, but I don't arrive in Kuldahar yet... The problem affects, when I load an old save, buy the way... I'll post later...

    Oh yeah you can't use old saves with new game patches/mod reinstallations. That will *definitely* screw up text strings.

    Reinstall game/mods = start a new game. In the middle of a good game? Just don't update the game or mods! That's like, rule #1 for this stuff.

    Bug: Nothing happens when a multiclass mage uses the dragon disciple tome.
    Why there are no thief kit tomes? I think swashbuckler multiclass is quite powerful

    DD a not a Mage kit - that tome will only work for sorcerers.

    Why there are no thief kit tomes? I think swashbuckler multiclass is quite powerful

    I suspect the issue is, it would be extraordinarily to make the tome figure out what to do about thief skills, since each kit gets a different amount per level.

    Yes, a multiclass swashbuckler would be absurdly powerful, which is why the game does not allow it...

    I've found what I believe is a bug. The arrows and sling stones produced by the Quiver of Arrows and Bag of Bullets are striking as if they are magic weapons. Either they should be striking as normal weapons, or the descriptions should be updated to say what + they're striking as. Note that THAC0 and damage are the same as for normal ammunition, it just that they can hit creatures that are immune to normal weapons.

    In this screenshot, Darien is using the Quiver, while Gudrun is using a normal two-handed sword. Darien can hit the Shadow, as can the other two characters using the Bags.

    Here are my ideas:

    *Joril's Axe should require 21 Strength to wield and have a weight of 100, but it should do 2d12 damage or something along those lines. This will make it feel more like a frost giant's weapon and less like a slightly different version of Lonesome Road (Joril's Axe isn't necessarily worse; it's just that they're not different enough).
    *There should be some sort of awesome +5 two-handed sword easily as powerful as the Blade of Aihonen somewhere in the game. The same goes for halberds, spears and quarterstaves (I know that there's already a +5 spear in the game, but I'd like one with some cool abilities).
    *Giants should move quickly (not with a faster animation), since they cover quite a distance with each step.
    *Krilag, Joril, Seth, Purvis, the Hosttower assassins and most of the enemies on Icasaracht's island should be much tougher.
    *The good items that are unobtainable due to Heart of Winter's change in random loot should be put in the game. For example:
    Morning Star of Action: Wielded by Fleezum (who would be given 5 points in Flail/Morning Star if he doesn't already).
    Bhaal's Fire: Wielded by Flozem.
    Short Sword +4: Hammer: Wielded by Purvis.
    Ring of the Warrior Thief: Worn by Purvis or perhaps Marketh.
    Ring of Wizardry: Worn by Presio.
    *Kelly should wield a Long Bow +4: Hammer.
    *Throughout the game there should be a bunch of each of those potions that change stats permanently.

    The Manual lists a Barbed Club of Pain component, but when installing this mod, it never asks me about it.

    Should this be installed before or after Distinguished Clubs? Or are those effects already included?

    I did loot the Barbed Club of Pain, so it must be part of another component, without it being described as such.

    I also saw a variety in images, without installing Distinguished Clubs, so it seems Distinguished Clubs is included in this mod.

    I looked at the list of HLAs you give to each class. I think it would be better to assign HLAs based on kit rather than based on class (Swashbucklers should not learn Assassination).

    Also, if the user has custom kits installed, it would probably be better to give them the same HLAs as the base class of the kit (even though this could cause similar problems) than to give them no HLAs at all.
