[Cheating] [Spoilers] CluaConsole, please help!

raelcariraelcari Member Posts: 133
So I've officially left the wardstone for WK (and Foebane +3, by the way) in Athkatla and started playing ToB. I need to Clua my way out of this. I can't bring up the console - this is what I've tried:

- Opening baldur.ini in documents/bg2 and typing in:
- INSERT INTO options ROWS (
'Program Options', 'Debug Mode', '1',
- with WordPad.
- On pressing ctrl+space ingame nothing happens. Well, it pauses the game.

Why can't I get the console working? Also, are there options besides clua?
Help would be greatly appreciated - hell, I'd even settle for sympathy at this point...

Well, you daft d**khead, you've sc**wed yourself thoroughly this time, roflmao!Sorry, no, just joking. Of course you have sympathy, it's an easy mistake to make.

As for help ... can't you just load a prior save before ToB?

But if you need the console, what you've described sounds right ... if you're on an old version. If you're on current EE (v2.0+), then you need to edit the .lua file instead of the .ini file. There's a "how to" sticky in the Troubleshooting section of this forum.

If you are running another language besides English then ctl-space may not work as expected.

Don't you need to edit baldur.lua instead of .ini now?

I must thank you all, and congratulate myself on my 100th post. The vigil stone is in my inventory, and my attention can once again be directed towards ToB.
