Is there a mod to set real time as game time?

Is it possible to set the game time as real time (so potions and spells last real hours and an hour lasts 60 turns)?

There is a function in the EET that calculates game time into real time, so that you can evaluate how long real time you spent in the game or in a chapter etc. Of course you could enhance this function for your purpose. But it would be immense amount of work as you need to tweak all time based functions of the game. And it may take you a year in real time from Candlekeep to Sarevok etc.

The game runs at 10 times the speed it's supposed to represent (a round is supposed to be 60 seconds in 2E, but in-game it passes in 6 seconds), so the only way to make it a perfect match would be to reduce the frame rate from 30 to 3, making the game last 10 times as long.

If you just want to make all spells last 10 times as long, instead of rounds, there may be a kind of WeiDu function that would let you change the durations of every spell and item en masse. Otherwise it would need to be done manually.

Or, if you just want your own spells to last 10 times as long, you can add a permanent effect to a character using a custom item from Near Infinity or EEKeeper using the "Modify Duration" opcode that would set spell durations to 1000%.
