    Hello! Thanks for the invitation to this thread, nice to be here!

    I'll gradually walk through all 15 pages and have a look on pictures.

    But I haven't come empty-handed and would like to intoduce this amazing work - a (self)portrait of a wizard by Richard Tran - a great work indeed. BTW his other works on his blog (http://medieve.blogspot.ru/) can be interesting.

    @LadyRhian Definitely my favorite thread in the forums here. The only negative is that it didn't begin with just a description of what was to come so, we could all heap "likes", praise and adoration on you in a single spot. Your taste and criteria are excellent. I snagged some swashy, thief and paladin images for later. If you stumbled on some suitable human females with realistic armor (what front-liner would leave their heart exposed?) and blunt weapons (neither gets much love in fantasy artwork), I would be oh-so-grateful. Well, I already am, but I'd be even more oh-so-grateful. ^^ Thanks for your time and effort to share these!

    @LadyRhian Thank you very much! The redheaded elf girl by Ilich Henriquez (on page 2) would be my ideal paladin if she were human. Now that's what a lady paladin's armor should look like, heh.

    I stumbled on this site while looking for women clerics and paladins. Definitely not the norm for females in fantasy art though you have already posted many images they have ^^

    Many thanks, LadyRhian! I searched through both and found some good temporary portraits. Now you've inspired me to check into commissioning a piece (or two). Any new/up-and-coming artists you particularly like? Yesterday was another great update (as usual).

    @Xanar Sorry for not getting back to you sooner- I was in the hospital having a toe amputated- to make an entirely too long story short- I was taking care of Dad, got the infection in a cut on my toe, couldn't go to the hospital until far too late because I couldn't get anyone to take care of Dad (I'm an only child, and none of my relatives live close) so when they finally put him in a nursing home, and I got the front window of the house repaired, I was finally able to go to the hospital to get it checked out, and it was too late to save my toe. On the downside, I am now 19-digited. On the upside, one of my feet has "Live Long and Prosper" toes (it was the middle toe on my right foot that got amputated). It didn't/doesn't hurt (diabetic neuropathy of the feet is finally good for something!), and since it's the middle toe, it doesn't really affect my balance. And I could walk on my foot literally an hour after the surgery, which was on Monday, and it's now Wednesday and they released me today from the hospital. So I am at home right now.

    @Akihiko Thanks! Y'know, I could weep and moan and wail about what happened, but I figure, why waste the energy? It happened, deal with it, and focus on getting better and insuring it doesn't happen again.
