    More Orc,Urk,Orug,Hogoblin,Goblin Kind pictures pleaseee :PP great thread, i like most of the art. Some of it is too cartoonish,childish but others are just like wow.

    @Leon - The variety is what I appreciate. There are some styles I don't like, but she puts in so many different ones that I've been able to find a lot that I like.

    I agree that variety is good, but some races are left aside. Elves,human,magical "beautiful" races and creatures are more popular then the mighty Orc. I think that misery,rage,training,discipline,anger is much better fitted for art then kinky drow,"all perfect" elf, and "Too perfect human S posers". I feel some races are being neglected like: Giants,orcs,demons. Underdark is considered one of the best fantasy themes: yet i dont see beholders or illithids. Hobgoblins ,goblin,snake kin and other INTERSTING races. Elfs are so boring.. all self righteous. Every race has certain weakness but the Elf are just fancy S fantasy creatures. I imagine they are necessary for balance.. if it wouldnt be for this immortal,beautiful,agile,intelligent,wise,ALL GOOD race- people wouldnt like Urks(which is opposite). http://www.orcs.ca/

    @Leon These are supposed to be mostly CHARNAME portraits or those for NPCs. Since you can't play Illithids or Goblins, I haven't posted any. But more half-orcs and orcs are coming.

    Thanks :)) I wish i could create a beholder.. maybe in Bg3:o? This is sooo stupid that they dont make this races as playable characters.. or at least possible NPCs

    awesome pictures! yeah its rare to find wise\intelligent Orcs.. always the stereotype. Going to try one of the Orcs when the patch is finally released. Orc thief is hard to find :0 usually they are either berserkers or plain dumb fighters.

    @LadyRhian Not directly related to Baldur's Gate, but do you know of decent pictures, which could be used for pre-4th edition Genasi characters? Most pictures I could find on DeviantArt (or similar sites) are those over-the-top tattooed "Soul Genasi". And those now really have nothing in common with the ones from the good ol' Planescape Campaign Setting anymore.

    There are a lot of really badly done pics of naked or half-naked Genasi, but I was able to find these just by searching for "Genasi", so if you try that, you might be able to find what you want.

    @LadyRhian I agree. But sadly, the keyword "Genasi" over at DeviantArt doesn't yield much useable results at all. Mavrosh's works, while certainly pretty to look at, are at best great examples for Bad Fantasy Art. Their nudeness makes them rather impractical to be used as portraits in my opinion.

    As for the Storm Genasi: I vaguely remember reading an old AD&D edition of the Dragon Magazine, which described either Para-Genasi or Quasi-Genasi. So Lighning Genasi could theoretically exist in Planescape. But judging from the tattoos/markings of this character, it's probably a Stormsoul Genasi and thus part of the dreaded 4th edition.

    I also tried to use different keywords, with mixed results: Mermaid/man for Water Genasi, Golems for Earth Genasi, or simple "Fire" for Fire Genasi. As for know, finding fitting keywords for Air Genasi still is a odyssey though.
