You probably have the same problem as me. Mr. Orc is hidden behind the logo. Minimize your browser window then fiddle around with the width of the window and you'll see it.
@scriver Nope, he's one of the Bhaalspawn in Throne of Bhaal. The paranoid leader of Saradush that you have to stab in the neck because Mellissan tells you so and she can be trusted to know who's good or bad.
I wouldn't mind some continuity there, links the games together pretty well. Very curious about the details in the coming few days!
I guess we will get a finaly an updated Baldurs Gate Site...
I remember someone saying they will try to launch it near the end of the month or something like that, but I cant seem to find this info anywhere - it could be only a dream as well...
Gromnir is actually an old forum member, and BioWare did a cameo of him in Throne of Bhaal if I am not mistaken. Generated a bit of uproar, if I heard right.
So I guess Il-khan aren't really that big around the realms. But having some background to a widely unknown Bhaalspawn could be awesome.
I am getting worried ... With all these great expectation , just hope when the game come out there's no death threat flying around and hopefully Trent & dev team don't have to go into hiding . Just saying, as for me BG & IWD series are verrry good , to improve them is very hard , I will settle for better graphic if that is possible but to alter the contains , we might loose the games we all love . Not that I want to be the doom sayer , just my opinion .

Im not worried at all, we all know know more or less ( more to the less ) what we are going to get, basicly engine improvments including bug fixes, new GUI, new NPC's ( proffecionaly written and voiced ) , 2 adventures which should be great, new Art, new music, remake of the cinematics - thats more than enough for me!! and those are just the things we DO know... :-)
About the clock countdown , any body know exactly what are we counting down for ? Is it the release ? On another topic , I just google " baldursgate portraits" images , the result are ... Wow !!

WE WILL FINALLY KNOW THE PRICE!!!
kidding... first they will reveal officially what BG:EE is going to include, along the stuff we already know I belive they will also reveal some more Information. Second I think we might finally see some Pictures and maybe even some Music samples.
Maybe they will launch an appropriate Site to the game, as phillip daigle work on "web stuff" :-)
@odee We are expecting a post or news on what exactly we can expect from BGEE, such as release date (it will no be tomorrow), price, what it will include, ... and with a bit of luck we might even get to see a screenshot of something, this last will keep my fingers crossed.
@mch202 I really don't bother much about the price , I still remember spending a bundle on a game that supposed to be epic and ground breaking , end up using the cds as Frisbee for my cats ,won't mention the game coz they might come after me with their horde of lawyers . And I am very sure it won't happen with bgee

Thats why I wrote "kidding" a line after ;-)
and you spent only on one game which was supposed to be epic etc ?? lucky you!!
i have literally been stabbed in the street dozens of times because of this project
Yeah, it's getting awkward having to patch Phil up every time he comes into the office. The bandages are getting expensive and we've been through like 5 mops now.
I have signed up here because I'm worried about this comment on twitter;
"The only way to totally beat piracy is to mimic Diablo3 and make an online service. I'd rather put the effort into the game"
Now my question is, I know the beamdog client has an offline mode but most of the comments made indicate that Baldur's Gate EE will check for updates so does Baldur's Gate EE NEED an internet connection to initially check for updates, a constant connection like diablo 3 or able to run completely offline.
I say this because I work on a ship and have to pay for internet by the minute and I'm really hoping for an offline mode or it's back to tutu for me.
EDIT* Checked the FAQ thread, FAQ's are such helpful little things and in other news OFFLINE MODE! Well I'm still onboard just release it before september so i don't have to download it in starbucks please!
I believe what Trent means is that it is virtually impossible to completely guard against piracy without crippling the game experience and spending extra dev time on DRM solutions. IIRC he has previously tweeted that BGEE will not require an active internet connection.
I get the impression that Beamdog makes an effort to make what little piracy protection they use to be as un-noticable as possible.

Boxed product negotiations are stalled. We're trying to get it moving, but no recent movement.
Did I said one ? My bad , I should be so lucky , that just an example .
