Another one! On one of the pages I looked up to check official/canon Drow appearance it's said that Drows like to put golden trinkets in their hair, therefore I'll get to practice my gold-coloring skills.

You'd thing that drowing up an elf would be easy, wouldn't you? I know I did. I was wrong. Apparently Jaheira, while perfectly fine with changing gender, is dead against changing race. I managed to convince her eventually though.
Only after I uploaded the Jaheira portrait I realized I forgot to paint her eyebrows. Embarrassment, thy name is me. I'm to lazy to go back and change the submitted pics, so let's just all pretend that Drow!Jaheira uses a black eyeliner/mascara/whatever. Just as an item of curiosity have a pic of her early in the morning, pre makeup.
@Syntia13 i really hope you intend to make a whole npc pack for this occasion. they look great! you already have one customer that would use this in-game! (now we just need to fing someone to make a short drow portrait-change mod for it).

However, I also have same plans for the 'gender swap' set, and 'redone BG1 NPCs' set, and... and my working speed is somewhat incompatible with my planning speed. In other words - I will get there - eventually. Hopefully. Right now I'm trying to shave Jan Jansen. He is not cooperating. O_o For now, have Nalia:

@LavaDelVortel Holy crap, your Haer'Dalis looks awesome. I'm tempted to replace his ingame portrait with that one right now...he just looks so much better as a drow!
Genie's Haer'Dalis is by far my favourite I love how he captured the essence of the character but created a whole new piece. While the recoloring/ paint overs are really quite nice I really love the fresh new look. It kind of reminds me of the Icewind Dale portraits in a way, though I am not sure why...
@genie thanks He looks more evil but -- hey! he's an actor, no? I'm sure he would know how to act like a real drow. And he's more slim with a mane with white hair
The last one for the challenge proper, though I'll keep making new ones till the set is complete. To end with a bang, I decided to go with Jan Jansen, as I figured he'd be the most difficult one (closely followed by Korgan) to transform into an elf. Not only he needed a shave, but he also has this BIG gnomely nose, that needed to be shrunk down to elvish size. It was indeed quite demanding, but I had fan fiddling with it. I'm quite happy with how it turnout out. I threw in a picture of gnomish but shaved Jan as a bonus.
For the Readers' Choice award, we're going to be doing something a little different. Since we have five contestants and 26 entries, more than half of which are from a single person, previous polling methods are not going to work well.
So here's what we've decided: Everyone who is neither a contestant nor a jury member can nominate up to three of their favorite entries in this topic. Just post the character name and artist for each. After three days, the top nominations will go up in a single poll to decide the winner. Keep in mind that as stated in the rules and OP, portraits submitted after the deadline and of NPCs who are already drow may not be chosen.

I'm torn between Synthia's Haer'Dalis or Jan Jansen (who gave me nightmares, thanks). However, due to the tardiness of the latter (and because the former looks like he should be a new NPC alltogether), Synthia's Haer'dalis as my final vote in the top three!
