@Troodon80 When you use Custom save game location it's possible to get past the settings menu, even though the location of the save games is the default one. With custom save game location the game crashes when you try to open a saved game.
Next up, try this. Make sure to delete the lang folder if you haven't already. What you need to do with this is add "Logging = 1" to the eekeeper.ini file under the [Settings] heading. Edit using Wordpad or Notepad++ on Windows (don't use Notepad). When you press OK on a save game and it crashes, open the eekeeper.log file and copy the last few lines. Should be "Resources Loaded." and a new block should start with "Opening GAM file." I need to know if it's actually reading the GAM file, or where in the reading process it is crashing.

I'm consistently getting a crash that did not exist for me before 1.0.3.4, whenever I try to select a custom portrait. Other than that, I'm noy having any issues.
@poejjafers, Next up, added some additional checks for the TOH file in case there are no strings.
@jackjack, @kaguana actually mentioned that to me. I fixed it in the last couple uploads I've done here (and you can use the executable in attached ZIP as a fix for now). I won't be updating properly until I figure out the current issue that poejjafers and the others are having.
Okay. That's what I thought, it's crashing when getting the journal entries -- and I have a reasonable idea where. It should only take a few minutes to get a fix in, but it'll be some time tomorrow. :-)
Annoyed... so i re-installed SoD and i unpacked a fresh new EE Keeper to assign with SoD evertime i click to change portrait in creature editor or save. The freaking editor crashes. It works fine with BG1EE and BG2EE. But its not liking SoD >:(
Okay, can you confirm that you are able to open the Creature Browser, Item Browser, or Spell Browser windows (to display their respective lists)? Specifically, what I'd like to know is whether or not the items, spells, or creature files are displaying their appropriate names (don't look at the first couple with and assume they are all dud, there will be quite a few like that, just make sure some do have proper names).
Best I can tell it's having problems reading the dialog.tlk file.
Also, if you could ZIP up the eekeeper.ini file and send it via private message that might also help. :-)
Question: what directory are you using for the game's installation path in Keeper? Is it something along the lines of C:\Program Files\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition\? If it is, and you have used the standalone installer, see this for details:
If you are using the standalone installer, please ensure that you use the game directory rather than the launcher directory. Typcially, the launcher directory will be
\Program Files\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition\
, whereas the game directory is located further into that directory,

So you are unable to open the savegames without it crashing?
I used the save folder as a custom save location, instead of the original\ Documents\Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition/ folder.
It still crashed as before.
1.0.3.3 acts the same as 1.0.3.4 in regards to crashing.
Give this a try—it's just the executable, so extract and overwrite the existing EEKeeper.exe you have with this one.Nope, still crashed.
I'd overwritten the old executable in 1.0.3.4, still crashed on the opening of the save file.

Thank you for the work :-D
EE Keeper and shadowkeeper have always been the best tools for the BG series.
@Vasculio, did you try the executable in the zip I attached above?

I opened the browsers, but no lists appeared.

If it is, and you have used the standalone installer, see this for details: Replace the numbered folder (00766 = BG:EE) with the appropriate folder for the game you are trying to set up.
