There were complaints after some objects of desire were omitted from the first poll. So here is a new selection box of Baldur's Gate favourites for you to pick from.

You have hidden a secret passion for them but now it is time to tell the world. People, who do you love?

    The Dynaheir romance in the BG1 NPC Project is very well written and detailed imo.

    @The Eldoth option: do you know this forum is supposed to be friendly for people from age 13 onward, just like the game BGEE?

    I feel like Edwin might have been an interesting choice for evil female PCs, particularly spellcasters...

    Hm... should I invest in Edwin and later choose Edwina? But it would also be interesting to let another NPC end up in a hostile confrontation with Elminster, and have her/his gender changed permanently. In that case my vote would go for Dorna.

    There actually is an Edwin romance mod out there for BG2. It has hits ups and downs like most romance mods but isn't too bad. (I mean, seriously you have Anomen for comparison).

    I picked Ajantis for the comedy gold of this line:

    "The sexual act will take seconds; the guilt and remorse will last a lifetime."

    I can totally picture a hilarious plot line where the PC pursues Ajantis, lands him, and then has to spend egregious amounts of time dealing with him freaking out about having violated one or more parts of his paladin code. Seems like that plot line could have a lot of landing points ranging from traditional romance to hilarious quips to fallen paladin. Mostly, I like the idea of Ajantis freaking out every time the PC seduces him but unable to resist her Bhaal-spawn charms.

    This is basically the idea behind the Imoen romance mod. Just replace "Paladin" with "Sister".

    I have not been able to convince myself to give that one a try. Some "ick" factor and I have read bad things about the writing, although that is just second-hand reviews.

    BG2 spoiler:

    Well, in BG2, Firkraag makes him and his party, and Charname & Co, look like monsters to each other so you attack each other. So you could say he ends up getting s****ed by a dragon. :D

    It will always be Edwin for me.
    I don't believe in a romance with him - he's just not the long-lasting relationship type - but I never understood why in BG2 he tried to seduce every single woman we encountered except my female charname... :(
    I think he would be intrigued by a daughter of the God of Murder, and that trying to seduce her would be a worthy challenge for him :)

    I laughed out so hard! :-D English is not my native language so I am not entirely sure about which is which in 'giving' or 'receiving' and stuff, and needless to say I am totally scared to google it up! :-D (ignorance is bliss, Eldoth is cool either way!)

    Actually, Spellhold Studios hosts a brilliant mod (Edwin romance for BG2) that is very well written. You should try it: it is fun. Dialogues are faithful to Edwin's personality, so do not expect him to be sweet or something :) If you play with an evil female CHARNAME, it is a good alternative to Anomen.
