We should get Clairvoyance or Farsight spell icon badges if we're correct about our predictions
In December, send me a message with a link to your accurate, pre-launch, prediction and I'll give you a badge. I'll even accept non-Hexxat predictions if you made one in a different thread.
December because I don't want ya'll flaunting your new bling and spoiling things for people that want to make their own discoveries. And I'll be busy in November. And I didn't get you anything for Christmas yet.
Edit: By pre-launch I mean before the public gets game data. So before pre-load.
I predict that Hexxat will be female. As for my non-Hexxat prediction, I predict that download rates will be slow on release day.
Hexxat is merely a pseudonym, and everything about her is a deception. Her true identity is as a true neutral human Fighter with a fetish for godmothers named Abdel Adrian.
Bad things will come to those responsible. Backstab or be backstabed, "Hexxat"!
Could be worse. She could be a Swashbuckler.
As I mentioned earlier, both would be terrible. I will be terribly annoyed if she's anything other than a Fighter/Thief, Thief, Bounty Hunter, or Assassin.
I have no qualms with her being a shadow dancer, but she will probally be an assassin.
Swashbuckler are fighter thiefs, we have already lots of good fighters for evil (Korgan, Sarevok and Dorn), BH we already have Yoshimo, so what's left is shadow dancer and assassin, however from a roleplay and background point of view i see an assassin as the best choice for an evil character at this moment.
Well, she isn't going to be a Fighter/Thief, because they've already confirmed that she's a single-class rogue. Bounty Hunter seems unlikely because Yoshimo, Assassin seems unlikely due to the rather low thief points they gain. She is wielding a bow in all the screens, which seems to rule out Swashbuckler. She's mostly likely going to be a true class Thief or a Shadowdancer.

I would say we can't rule out Bounty Hunter, because Yoshimo only barely counts as a real companion.

Be that as it may, it'd be weird to make both the pureclass rogues Bounty Hunters when you have another 3 kits and the vanilla class to choose from. It just seems kinda unlikely, even given Yoshimo's... well, yeah.

I have to consider it a possibility, for my own sanity. Anything to increase the possibility that she won't have nerfed backstabbing. That would be my greatest source of disappointment with this character, so I'm hoping against hope that it does not happen.

There's a whole bunch of fan-made thief NPCs done over the years, including all the kits you have listed, with plenty of options for evil parties. Some of them quite well done, not much worse than original NPCs and most certainly not any worse than what Beamdogs put out so far...
And there is no shadowdancer NPC yet, for very obvious reason. So why would it be terrible again?

A "whole bunch"? Please, enumerate them, because other than Fade, who is Chaotic Neutral, I can't think of a single Thief NPC mod worth the data that comprises it. I honestly would like to see this multitude of Evil-party appropriate Thief NPC mods.
Also, don't make me laugh, Overhaul's NPCs are leaps and bounds ahead of what 90% of modders out there have done. There's no contest when it comes to quality when it comes to, say, Dorn vs Saerileth, for instance.

Now, I've basically never really played with any NPC mods at all, but even I know that a comparison between Overhaul's best character and possibly the greatest atrocity to have ever been conceived by human thought is not especially fair on mod NPCs as a whole XD
I wanna be an Aasimar too, and an evil one at that.
I'd actually quite like her to be an Aasimar (albeit an evil one, on the run from the higher plains or something). I'd really like her to be anything but a plain Human or a Tiefling, since we already have a Tiefling (and you can currently edit Charname to be one, since it is coded. If they added another 'odd' race then you might be able to edit Charname into one of them too). "Hexxat" does not exactly sound like the name of someone from the upper plains, however. It might sound like a lot fo things, but that is not one of them.
Still hoping against hope for Shadar-Kai Shadowdancer (I can always use Dee's mod for the backstab multiplier, after all) XD

I was comparing them on the basis of both being Paladin kits and thus filling similar party roles, but I suppose you're right. Still, Saerileth is an NPC mod, and there are better, but I think we can all agree that a professionally developed NPC will never be as bad as the worst modder NPC.

What does the Tiefling race do, exactly? Does it give elemental resistances and +1 dex, -1 charisma, or something?
In 2E PnP, Tiefling has +1 Int and Cha, -1 Str and Wis, 50% immunity to Cold/Magic Cold, and +2 saves against fire, lightning and poison. They can also cast Darkness 10' Radius around themselves and have Infravision.
Also, just for reference, Aasimar get +1 Str and Wis, -2 Con, 50% immunity to (Magic)Fire and (Magic)Cold, +2 saves against charm, fear, domination and related things, and +10% magic resistance. They also get +1 to 'surprise' checks (which i guess maybe you could implement with an innate +1 Reaction Adjustment in BG?)
The penalties and bonuses change in 3E, though. I think Tieflings get a Dex and Int bonus and a Cha penalty, for instance, which is an interesting shift.
Oh, no, you have to manually edit everything in. Haer'Dalis doesn't even get any bonuses until he's high level (when he gets 50% Cold Immunity, 25% Fire immunity and 15% Physical Immunity).
- She's a vanilla Thief. - She's either True Neutral or Neutral Evil. - She's a Human. - She can be romanced by both male and female protagonists. - She will be able to change alignments during the game, either from Neutral to Evil or the other way around, depending on what she starts as.
Other ideas which may or may not be accurate:
As the first press release states, her quest involves searching for several magic items scattered across the game world.
At least one of these items will be in the Spellhold dungeon and another, in the Underdark, prompting many players to complain about not being able to finish her quest because they missed one or more of those.

Three letters, four letters.
BG3:EE and BG4:EE confirmed.

I'M THE BLUE POWER RANGER GODDAMNIT!
No, seriously, enough with NPCs that can do everything you can't, just to show off and be special like that.
I'm the Bhaalspawn, i'm in charge here!
