It seems like it locks the text to whatever position it was in when in the smaller box view, even if that cuts off a bunch of the text when in the big box view. And it won't let you scroll it. See these screenshots for a comparison:
One run done through to confirmed completion, quite a bit of slowdown on the Sarevok fight which included Tamoko vanishing with the globe until Gorion died and the fight finished.
Test ran perfectly on my 2013 Nexus 7. The only issue is that the text is on the small size, but it is after all a 7 inch tablet.
Oh, one other thing. When you fully expand the text box at the bottom, the scroll bar disappears, and you can't scroll it for some reason.
That also happens in the iPad version. Both BG:EE and BG2:EE.
Ah ok. It's not exactly a big deal. I'm just glad the game runs pretty much perfectly. Didn't see any slowdowns or jank, even with weather effects and the battle.
Ok successfully deployed and completed on 3 devices, waiting for downloading on 2 more -
Nexus 7 (2012) - Very good, would like a line space between options for conversation, as my fingers are a bit large and I defo selected the wrong thing to say.
Nexus 10 (2013) - Very nice running on old hardware, looks really nice on 10", really good.
Samsung Galaxy 3 - Looked and ran brilliantly on it. I know its not meant to be playable on it but it was good. again a line space between text options would make it perfect.
Awaiting download on - (My internet seems very slow tonight, especially on the download of the beta).
Works like a charm on the 2013 Nexus 7, smooth as a baby's bum throughout. Also gave it a whirl on the HTC One X, which ran fine, but you'd probably need a stylus and a magnifying glass to really play. Still, shows tegra 3 holds up OK.
Hey! All good run on my tab Cube U30GT2. Screen size 1920x1200. Zoom and gameplay is OK. But when i try to turn a screen, game is crushed and not responding.
I just ran the beta again and this time I experienced very low frame rates on my TF101 during the final battle when the enemy mage cast the spell that causes her to be encased in a blue sphere (not sure what the spell is called). Everything else worked just fine.
@cmk24, noticed the same slow-down on the Nexus 7 (2013). Resilient Sphere is the problem there. I think performance information is supposed to be sent to base, so they probably know about it.
Ran good on my Toshiba AT300, performance was very good very slight slow down on the final cutscene. Navigation was very smooth and the menus were very easy to navigate. I didnt have any problem selecting dialogue but I had to concentrate alot.
The biggest surprise was how playable it was on my HTC One X, definitely hope I can access the save game files for some cross device play.
@Dee Do we need to complete the test while connected to WiFi? I just realized I have been doing them on the subway en route to work with no connection.
Played through on both the nexus 7 and the nexus 5. Ran smooth on both. I did not see the slow down on either device that others are setting in the fight with Sarevok....er I mean the dark figures. Cause spoilers right?
I've run it three times on my 2012 N7, the first two had slow down on the final battle, the final one ran smooth as silk. Also noticed some minor tearing localised over Winthrops Inn. I think that one went out of bounds though...
There has been another build put out today. The e-mail doesn't say if you want me to test it regardless of whetever or not I did a successful test yesterday (which I did), or only if I was having problems with 'out of bounds' during the Gorion cutscene?
Ran to completion this evening on my Nexus 10. Looks fantastic. Some questions/observations:
Test should be run by launching the app from its icon, correct? In TestFlight, the app still has the 'install' button, so I don't know how to launch it via TestFlight if that is what is required.
Targeting by touch wasn't always accurate, particularly in the Candle keep Inn. Pressing the floor near a 'hot spot' (chest, bookshelf, stairs, door, etc.) would target the hot spot, not just move Abdul to the spot I selected. So, a few times he would try to open a drawer, descend/ascend the stairs, etc. when I just wanted him to move.
Finally, frame rate noticeably dropped while walking through the Candlekeep gardens (near the Chanters, Tethoril, etc.). It primarily happened when zoomed out past the default zoom level. The lag was very clear.
This is just a friendly reminder for everyone to complete the test by talking with Gorion, watching the cinematic, and then clicking 'done' when the text starts with "you awaken with...". Let's get that completed test number up!
I too experienced a tiny bit of slowdown at the end of the cutscene battle, but otherwise was very pleased with the touch-screen interface, it was very intuitive and seemed to follow my fingers exactly as I wanted. Other than that one bit, it ran very well and even seemed a little better than my PC. Graphics were crisp and text readable.

I was about to ask this very same question. I also have a Nexus 10 and felt that overall it was a very smooth run through. I'll try it again tonight when I get home from work and check the framerate in the gardens. I also found targeting a little tricky at times.
Runs better than expected on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 But sometimes there are some missing fps when moving image. And ones, when Tamoko casted a blue ball outside her (I don't know what spell is this :P), but on the secound time that was already smoothly.

Both BG:EE and BG2:EE.

I could startstart and complete test with Abdel and also with Halen.
Only slow down was during battle when a shield was cast, (wow it looked good).
Off to test on other devices now, as they seem slow to download ATM.

Kurio 10" Tab
Samsung 10.1" Tab
That is the Nook HD running smooth. No hang ups.
Edit: That's test version 6, I don't know why it linked like that.
but a little space between dialog text is needed!

Overall, great stuff, and I can't wait for more!
Using a 2012 Kindle Fire HD 8.9"
