    No, sorry.
However she did add to Yoshimo's story, which I liked.
I think that mod consists of content from the original creators of the game that got cut due to time or budget constraints (or maybe even stuff they thought didn't fit) so it is fairly consistent with the story. I thought it made the idea that Yoshimo would agree to the geas a little more believable (being that he was an independent operator who liked to work alone according to the Shadow Thieves)

I liked Brage. A paladin who goes mad and slaughters his family because he picked up a cursed zwiehander.

The story potentials are there for a berserker Paladin type character... not sure he'd still be LG after his slaughter even if it was beyond his control.

And Mulahey... if everyone else can't seem to stay dead in these games, why should he? Give me a Half-Orc F/C who burps like a pig.

Actually, he's perhaps the NPC who haunts our dreams most throughout the first game behind Gorion and Sarevok what with a dream all about his corpse. It'd be interesting to see what happens with this terrible and potentially traitorous party member if he were.

Absolutely Larry, Daryl and Daryl. They are the greatest. And they should be joinable (joke).

    Too overpowered
Yeah, I was thinking that they would have to be too smart and would easily see through Irenicus' plan. Plus, paired joiners was difficult enough to accommodate. A trio might just break things..... with their AWESOMENESS!!!

Not an NPC but... I'd like the Vampire's revenge longsword to be worth something, after all the effort required to make it.

Have it stay in your inventory like the pantaloons then have something to upgrade so it actually works. I suppose blackrazor is the closest thing we're gonna get... *sigh*

As a completely tangential note, since we get Whelm and Wave (I think?? Don't we? or am I more nutz than I thought?) and Blackrazer all in BG, is anyone thinking that you should actually be able to visit White Plume Mountain somewhere along the way? Or is that just me?

@booinyoureyes there's a maniac halfling that opposes Logan Coprith in BG2, he comes and says that he is gonna be the next High Merchant.

Trademeet would be perfect for Kagain. There are many rich folks and nobles travelling through the wilderness to get there. A mercenary business would sure get a lot customers to escort people from/to the next big city.

but why would Kagain give up his shop in Beregost to move to Trademeet?

But Kagain is already in BG2...he just changed his name to Korgan

He was travelling with charname and got attacked by the Shadow Thieves. Irenicus wasn't very interested in Kagain in the first place, plus he had a lot gold to bribe the thieves and let him get away. Now there he was, in an unfamiliar area, his wealth notably diminished, his comrades gone. What's a dwarf to do? Well, join the next band of mercenaries or traders and go to the next city. That happened to be Trademeet, where the High Merchant welcomed a fellow warrior-turned-businessman into the community. Noticing the demand for bodyguards due to the town's relatively remote location in the wilderness, Kagain smelled the opportunity to make a lot money with low risk work. So he stayed. That's why. :)

Trademeet, a notable center of commerce.
    Beregost, a 'pissant town'

    whats considered a minor npc?

id add the women you save on the basilisk map no real reason for it, would just be cool to see what became of her. Silke ofcourse would be awesome

obviously id pick Alora as shes my favourite in bg1 but I think id rather have her joinable of just not present as lets face it the bg1 cameos mostly suck

Husam (not in his drunk disguise, though) - He is Shadow Thief from Amn, if anything fits than his present in Athkatla's thieves guild.
    Bjornin, just because.
Scar - I know there is a tiny problem with him actually appearing, but he is a character I would have liked to see more about.

@Jastey : are you THE Jastey (feared by all)? The one who makes mods, like the Ajantis one?

LOL. Just playing devil's advocate here.

Beregost = town where Kagain owns a shop, has contacts and inventory and presumably isn't 'that' far from where the Shadow Thieves attacked.
Trademeet = Big town and center of commerce where lots of people with more coin than he has and therefore have better store fronts.

    All in fun.

@KidCarinval - that was pretty good justification. Thanks for that.

@the_spyder I know, I just love how Thalantyr says the word "pissant"!

I wouldn't mind seeing what Dilby's been up to. Clearly, he never did end up throwing rocks at Neeber. I'm rather curious as to what he's been up to - in BG1, he was nothing short of a role model to most of my Charnames :D
    "What about now?"

There's more wealth flowing in Amn--IIRC it is the richest nation on the face of Faerun (at that time). I'm also recalling that although Amnians are prejudiced against all demi-humans, they set that aside for matters of trade. But anyway, I could see how opportunities might present themselves. Amnwater is another location Kagain could end up, as it's a hub for caravan guard companies.

I would have liked to see Thalantyr make an appearance. Though he treats CHARNAME as sh*t, I always respected the mage and sympathize with his need for privacy. He could appear as the official Cowled fools hireling to investigate the Planar Sphere (as opposed to CHARNAME's unofficial appointment by Tolgerias).

Amnians being prejudiced against demi-humans could even play out in Kagain's favor. Dwarves are typically seen as "drinks a lot, uses hammers and axes - and makes an excellent blacksmith". Kagain may not be a blacksmith, but he probably had contacts to some in Beregost (he had decent weapons and armor despite the iron crisis) and could have offered to supply stores through them. Trademeet has a small city guard that can barely deal with wild animals, and the High Merchant is no idiot. He'd likely take such an offer. I think for a dwarf (and probably gnome), it's easier to get a foot in the door in a trading town than for a half-orc or halfling, due to the trade-related "prejudice" against the race.

    Cadderly, "a visitor of Candlekeep"

I always wondered if that was THE Cadderly from the RA Salvadore books.

It would be nice to have him as a non-playable NPC where he assists with his explosive hand crossbow and casts awesome clerical spells.

Also, Shandalar would be a nice one to see. Another quest would be nice as well

there is some good cameos(I love Garricks take on Cyrano) but characters like Ajantis just suck, there's absolutely no point to it all it does is kill of a character people may have liked. Same with Xzar his death is just a bit silly, killing characters is fine but do it for a worthwhile reason not just for the sake of it. And then as mentioned there's Quale

I always like thalantyr. I've had that line "I be thalantyr, mighty Mage of beregost" going through my head for days. (I think that's how it goes) love the melincamp idea to.
