    @Musigny @Dee‌, I went out and bought a cheap new Acer Aspire M3400 from down the road to test this. Remarkably, there is no problem. It imports perfectly every time.

    So this is probably a system settings issue (read/write?). At first, I thought it might have been a difference between AMD and Intel, but after trying on yet another computer running Intel (Wine on Linux), it works fine.

    @Musigny, you're running Windows 8.1 (32-bit)?

    First, thanks! You're surely wondering why? Well, my beta "access" is an old one (I've been away from the scene for some months now) but it still worked!!! So, 1.3.xxxx here I come! :)

    I'll start testing it out soon and I'll report (using the link) as fast as I can!

    So I'm on mac and from what I can see I still haven't gotten this update (as in it doesn't register as being downloadable). Does the combat log window change also fix an issue I'm having with the console? (where basically the first bit of code is cut off on my screen).

    I actually like having easy access to the in-game date. The clock in the lower left does not show the date, it only says "Day X Hour Y".

    Its just largely useless clutter to me but if it helps tablet users I'm not that opposed to it.

    Sorry if this is the wrong place but can we mention typos here?

    For example, in the character sheet it will list 'Two-Handed Sword' but then 'Two-handed Style', etc. (Or perhaps it's the other way around).

    Two-Handed Sword / Two-handed weapon style / Two weapon style are three different proficiencies.

    I'm quite sure he was referring to capital letters.

    Good afternoon.
    I apologize in advance, as I think that our community is rather tired.
    But still, could you tell me, is present in version 1.3 of the Russian language. Thanks again.

    I can launch BGEE with a russian interface. This being said this does appear to be fully translated (and btw there is no credits for the russian team on the language selection page).

    Please fix the keybinds issue. Many of the spells do not have keybinds.

    P.S. Is there a file I can edit to get change the keybinds manually?

    @sparrow‌
    Start the game and go to Options > Gameplay > Assign Keys. Change the keybinds as you like, then quit the game so the changes are properly saved. When you next start the game again, the assigned keys should work. They do for me, anyway.
    Edit: Btw, when the changes are saved, you can go to Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition and open the baldur.ini file. You should see the assigned spells listed there.

    Here's my review of the fixes (since 1.2).

    First, good work on the mage book spell writing... Easier to know when spell is already written!
    Is it normal that unidentified items icon are now almost hidden behind a white/grey wall? It's cool!
    Custom Sounds Sets works great!

    The less good...
    The combat log window bigger would/was looking good... Maybe make it an option?
    When having a combat on travel, the game still pauses when the map is still undiscovered...

    Except for that (I've only played it few hours) everything is great! Good work!

    I think what @sparrow‌ meant is that a number of spells are simply not listed under the options. For example, 'Power Word, Kill' is not there. Links (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) to topics that discussed this issue. You cannot bind what isn't there. :-)

    That's caught me off-guard a few times while playing, ultimately resulting in me forcing the game closed as it becomes seemingly completely unresponsive/soft-locked.

    But, only an unpause (spacebar) is needed :) They already made that glitch known in 1.2 if I remember right... That's why I was not THAT surprised but it would be nice for 1.3 (since this glitch is known and EASILY repeated) to test and remove!

    Are there any mac users out there with access to this update? Like I mentioned almost a week ago I've tried getting it but I can't seem to.

    Not me. I can see the OSX beta in "my games" on beamdog.com, but I get a 404 error when I try to download it. The OSX launcher for BGEE doesn't see the beta either, it only gets the release version.

    *Shakes head* ...I kind of have to wonder what they expect from beta testers when they stagger releases like this. I realize their aren't that many changes from the previous version but its not helping anyone when a good portion of the different operating systems you are testing aren't being tested at the same version as others (and by no means is this the first time I've experienced this as a tester with these games).

    As the game stands now I can't even see a 1/4 of the console codes I type in (just when play testing the game not for going through the bucket list) because the game cuts it off (presumably due to the console window issue). I'm left to basically hope I typed it right lol.

    You know, it would be great if that number would get updated at some point. Otherwise this whole repeating beta testing loop is just too depressing to witness.
    YES! You just took it from my fingers, I just wanted to write something similar. :-) And also, waiting for Phase 3 is killing me...I wanted to start a new run few weeks ago but then I noticed that new patch is on the way. Well, I really hope it's on the way and not having a cigarette break. :-))

    I don't know how many players still contribute to the beta testing. Usually game testing is done by the developers and hired testers. It's cool that the BG:EEs have an enthusiastic hardcore fanbase who contribute to testing, but the game's release has been some time ago so I would imagine that fanbase is waning. Since we do not see that much progress or an abundance of information from official sources, my guess is that's why testing is taking so long right now.

    Which is a shame, because I would really like to see some cool stuff being done for these games: more updates, new DLC, new quests and companions, portraits, soundsets, etc. But the fewer the people who are currently playing the game, the less likely it is for any release to be a financial success, unfortunately. Therefore I'm hoping to see some big announcement soon, because I think the end of the timeframe when such an announcement can occur is slowly closing in (at least for BG1:EE).
