There is often humor in taking an established trend to extreme ridiculousness. For instance there's fire, water, earth, etc elementals. So make an ice cream elemental and boom, funny(maybe).
I think the same applies to the powerword spells. You've got powerword:sleep, powerword:blind and powerword:kill so why not powerword:sneeze or powerword:makemeagrilledcheesesandwich?
Recently twerking(according to yahoo news) has become a "thing", especially as it applies to Miley Cyrus at the VMA. So I joined those 2 ideas together. Powerword:twerk felt funny to me. On a secondary level it appeals to some of the darker fairy tales about a character putting on magic shoes and dancing themselves to death or could be interpreted as a reference to some fringe beliefs that all pop music icons being mind-controlled illuminati puppets.
Anyway, I started trying to apply the idea by putting one of the NPC wizards from Baldur's Gate on the body of Alan Thicke's son. The only wizard I could think of that would be unhinged enough to come up with a spell like powerword:twerk would be Xzar(although I forgot to check if that type of spells can be cast by necromancers). And once I'd gone there I thought maybe Montaron should take Miley's place. I tried to frame the punchline like this:
But once I finished it, it seemed like it didn't work somehow. Ratcheting on a story seemed to diminish the punchline, so I decided to flip things around and paste a twerking Miley into a generic mage picture. Google image search gave me a full body wizard basically the same position as Alan Thicke's son. My photoshop skillz aren't super refined, but I was able to cut Miley out and paste her on top. When it was finished, I thought it worked and was in the spirit of a meme thread, so I posted it.
@CrevsDaak wow, the beholders actually attack you with spells in your version off ee? because all they do in my version is just use pitiful bite attacks

@sarevok57 You've downloaded the mod?? If you have downloaded it, they should use spells, maybe its because of your version.
@Necdilzor, that pic reminds me yet again that I'd love to know who the actor or model was that Minsc's face and portrait were painted from. He looks like kind of an awesome guy.
@ShapiroKeatsDarkMage , I guess, if I'm honest, I don't get it either. The last one seems to be some kind of anime reference. The third one seems to be some kind of reference to mounting rules that must have been added in 3rd edition. I actually played the first one with friends, in person, and apparently, the second one is what BG is based upon.
You know what, I totally don't get this meme, either. Maybe the poster will come around and explain it?
I think it's supposed to be what player characters in each edition are supposed to be like... Or maybe just paladins, since the 2e one looks like a paladin and the 3e is one.
@sarevok57 If you installed THAT mod, its supposed that the Beholders attack you with High Level spells. Also, post another comment and you'll get the 1000 comments badge :P.
Oh man, I wanted to make a meme about that! Although more with the approach that the game should just make me visit an inn, pay the stay, sleep, and go back to the same spot while the screen blacks out. Like really, does anyone here sleep in the street because they find inns unaffordable??? Rather than taking more time than just pause-sleeping past thirty guards.

Sorry, I had to :P
..or choose another familiar
and devs, please don't fix Shadowdancer yet
