    OOC: at least I have an excuse, I wasn't there when this Mara appeared and just saw her make Kivan go down the hallway. Aerie stops me from intervening, and Shar teel wants to use me as a sharpening stone. Oh yeah, I don't think I trust the new party members. Not one bit.

    There is not enough room. People in heavy armor are going to have to go sideways down the passage.

    OOC: Can I descend sideways if my character still utilizes said boots of levitation? Floating is too cool.

    *Aerie will make sure there is a buffer of people (minsc included) between her and sarevok. She will also make sure to go before mara so that she can be prepared if he decides to try something again.*

    Okay, then I guess I should go first. I will tell the others to wait and will go down the passage looking for traps. If anything nasty comes my way I will run away with my boots of speed.

    Okay. You travel a long way, easily almost 90' before the passageway cuts to the east and widens out into a normal 10' wide hallway. You find no traps.

    So let me get this straight, I'm sideways in a narrow corridor. Following a Halfling and a Guinea Pig has my back, protecting me from a psychopath and the wingless wonder.

    No jellies. After another 10' the corridor goes east, ending 50' down at a massive wall filled with an adamantium door. It has no handle and no keyhole, merely three slits or slots at about waist height.

    How big are the slots? Do they look like you put coins in or spears come out?

    How about we rest while Aerie memorises a Knock spell and maybe a couple of summon monsters as well?

    Well, I follow suit and try putting my sword in a slot, wiggling it about and such to see if anything happens.
