Oh brother Thurm, why not grace our ears with a ripping tale of the old days, always a delight...

Who would you say are the most psychologically unbalanced characters in the BG series? And have you created any player-character concepts of your own that gave some of those characters a run for their money?
Rank them if you like.

I think the most psychologically unbalanced character is Neb the child-killer. Lots of characters are half crazy in bg 1/2, but most of them have enough of a rein on themselves that they can somewhat function in society, Neb is faaaaar out.
If not, we have Thurm's brother; Bassilus.
Somehow this seems to be Gnome territory. Besides Mutamin, and the already mentioned Neb, we have Kalah in BG2, and Tiax is pretty far gone as well.
edit: at least after i was done with him he could have blamed it on severe head trauma
Old hermit running around in only his diapers. Yeah that's not weird.
All his dialogue is actually intellectually refreshing
I know Centeol supposedly has some interesting dialogue but I can't pick any other option!
"It's thirsty work scouring evil from this den of iniquity. Get me another bitter after you dispose of that body!"
Edit: Come to think of it, maybe there's a reason intelligence is the obvious dump-stat for paladins...
C'mon, what about now? Let's KILL!
Russ'em, friggin', shaw'em, rab'em. C'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon!
Murder, death, kill! Murder death kill! Mwuhuhahahaha!
Swing harder, swing harder! Swing harder!!
Oh, sure, get me all excited for nothing. So, we going to kill something soon? How about now? No? How about... now? No? Ummm... now?
Oooh, I'm shaking! HaHaHa!
It's the gnomes that sit in your garden pretending to fish... THEY ARE THE CRAZY ONES...
It's some kind of conspiracy...
1. Dradeel (nice recipes lol)
2. Gromnir (paranoid personality disorder)
3. Durlag (went insane and designed a deathtrap dungeon)
4. Sahuagin King (even his subjects think him mad)
5. Golodon the Unmanned (can't resist putting him in lol)
Elminster. Not to imply anything, but pestering strangers about their mental state doesn't seem all that well adjusted to me.
