Tiana vs. Priss: Who do you side with?

SharGuidesMyHandSharGuidesMyHand Member Posts: 2,580
Who do you side with in the most epic love triangle to sweep Faerun?

I usually feel compelled to save sweet little Priss from that nasty old harpy Tiana. If I see Priss on the verge of defeat (which she usually will be, if left unaided), I have my cleric "command" Tiana to sleep, and then step back and allow Priss to finish off her napping target.

I always let them fight while I eat popcorn. Even with good characters. To me it is more a catfight than a fight to the death (which wouldnt make sense. Who would let their slave get killed without compensation?)

I never do that small side 'quest' because i get nothing out of it and the old hag almost always win.

Tiana. She's way funnier, and to be honest the whole thing is a comic relief experience. I never intervene though. Winner takes it all - although Rumar is probably my least favourite of the three, so he ain't much of a prize. :P

    Priss, because of Blade Runner
(where one of the replicants, the prostitute, is named Pris).

Tiana, because she's voiced by Tress MacNeille.

Priss. Namely because I like creating chaos wherever I go :D

It seems like the best option would be if they both turned on Rumar. Being that that can't happen, I just don't tell Tiana about it. Nobody needed to die in that situation...

I don't like either of them. They don't know their place in the food chain. ;)

And where the movie was better than the book. That's even more weird, as I have never heard of a Blade Runner videogame.

Priss was a prostitute? I thought the other female replicant (the one played by Joanna Cassidy) was the prostitute.

I'd never even thought to intervene, tbh, and I've pretty much just ignored it since I first played.

Yeah, Pris was a prostitute, the other girl (Zhora) was an assassin *and* a prostitute. Pris is a plain/basic model with no super-un-human features like Roy Batty (who was a commander, soldier, strategist and emotionally unstable, like all the other Nexus 6).

And yes, Balde Runner is one of my favorite movies, I'm a geek!

Batty wasn't unstable - he's just seen things us people wouldn't believe.

It definitely gets my vote for the greatest opening title sequence of all time.

I loved it the one time in my game when they managed to land killing blows on each other simultaneously.

Also Mom on Futurama. Oh man, I need that voice set.

    war cry: "STINK PIG!!!"

reputation goes up: ""I'm going to some BS charity for knocked up teenage sluts."

to unpopular BG1 NPCs: ""Who smells like freaking porpoise hork?!"

After the first few times I stopped talking to Tiana and triggering the fight. As @dustbubsy says, no-one needs to die. Also, after the first few times it gets old.

I don't believe I've done this quest more than once. I forgot it even existed. Does it give any XP?

It depends on my character's alignment - but Rumar is a weakling wretch , nevertheless.
