Hi. I love the idea of this mod. Especially the stat revisions. Makes the mid range points worth it. I don't know if I'm having a conflict somewhere or what but I installed this during a "maximized" BWS install and a separate "recommended" install. Both times I rolled a pally with 18 CON and had 17 hp at level one and would get (on normal difficulty to test max hp/lvl) 12 max at level ups. I rolled a trueclass cleric with 10 CON who had 10 hp at level 1 and would get 6 hp/lvl max. The hit points I end up with on different classes don't seem to sync up with what's in the readme. Also clerics and druids are only getting 4 profs at lvl 1, pally's 7 profs, and barbs 9. Am I missing something with how the new proficiencies and hit dice system works? Have things changed that haven't yet been updated in the readme? Or am I having a conflict with other mods? I fixed all noted conflicts in BWS, and also at one point installed just SoB on a fresh install and still seemed to have too many hit points. Sorry for the rant. It's late and I'm tired. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the great mods!
Actually I've tried it on BGEE and BGT with ToBEx. Same issues on both as far as I can tell. Also it seems any character with fighter as one of a multiclass gets a pip in all four combat styles by default at level 1. Even if they shouldn't have access to it. For instance Montaron has a pip in all four but it won't let me add more to shield fighting or two handed as I guess he shouldn't have access to them because of his thief class?
Okay. I just installed a BWS minimal install with only the SoB components (except the MR overhaul) to BGEE on Steam. I still seem to have the hit point issue. 18 CON pally starting with 17 hp and getting 12 hp per level when max hp per level is on. Imoen starts with 12 hp. Monty 14. Xzar 4. Khalid 19! Jaheira 15. Clerics and Druids still getting only 4 profs to start. But the problem with having pips in forbidden profs seems to be gone, so I guess that was being cause by a disagreement with something else in the BWS recommended through tactical installs.
For some reason when adding the proficiency system overhaul it gives NPCs with CON bonus even more HP. I installed (on a fresh BGEE install) the revised stats and revised hit dice only and everthing was ok. Imoen had 8hp, Monty 15, Xzar 4, Khalid 15, Jaheira 14. I then added the other components one by one and nothing changed until adding "WPO part 2: Proficiency System Overhaul". Once I installed that Imoen now had 12, Monty 14, Xzar still 4, Khalid 19, and Jaheira 15. They have 16, 15, 10, 17, 17 CON respectively. The readme says pallys and barbs should get 6 profs and clerics and druids 5. Instead pallys get 7 profs, barbs 9, clerics and druids 4. Hope this helps.
I'm trying out this mod for the first time (IwD:EE). Installed without any problem and it seems to working properly.
In IwD there is a potion that gives +1 charisma and -1 dexterity permanently. I tried it on one of my characters who has 16 charisma prior to drinking the potion. The jump from 16 to 17 should've given him a +1 bonus to his saving throws, however his saving throws remains the same. The loss in dexterity altered my ac, as it should.
Tried some more experimenting and cheated in some items that grants charisma bonuses and also tried to change the ability scores in EE keeper. But it seems that after character creation charisma no longer change your saving throws.

Hey @subtledoctor , can I just ask what changes allowed for 2.0 compatibility? I'm not too familiar with SoB tbh, I don't see that it adds any kits, but the fl#add_kit_ee.tpa it includes looks like the same one from 2014. My kits break at the 25STWEAP.2da line, I see the 2da changed drastically, but I haven't played around with it yet.
Lol wow that was exactly what I was going to do to fix it, but I figured it couldn't be that simple! I'll have to test my ideas next time before I ask, but thank you nonetheless.
I don't know if this bug has been addressed yet, but with the latest version of Scales of Balance, when you create your character there are multiple options of "Large Sword" when choosing weapon profiencies. After every few options there is a Large Sword entry; so it's like...
Large Sword Long Sword Short Sword Large Sword Axe Curved Swords Large Sword
...and so on. When you click on the "+" to add a Large Sword proficiency, there is no visible circle indicating that you've chosen Large Sword.
This affects both Baldur's Gate EE with the 2.0 patch and the current version of Icewind Dale EE, so it doesn't seem like it's a 2.0 specific issue.
Just discovered a Siege of Dragonspear related bug: the game crashes when trying to create a shaman. Specifically, the game will crash during character creation as soon as you try to choose your skills (when you click on the "Skills" button, it immediately crashes to desktop).

Just realized Monty actually got one less.

Is this a bug or some problem on my end?
Oh thats good to hear. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this mods especially the kits.
