On the other hand I'm dealing with an upon-rest crash issue that used to happen on non-modded BG: EE and IWD:EE games. Resting outdoors / in dungeons crashes the game. Resting in a tavern can lead to a crash as well. Replacing the movies with tavern ones doesn't do the trick. I need to have it solved as it renders my mage and cleric a wee bit useless.
Here's my list of installed mods, using Big World Setup to do so (except for WM additions, those were done manually): http://pastebin.com/N5EiKW0N
Below is a dump file my game created after crashing. I have no idea where to post this as my game is modded so it won't fit within the troubleshooting section.
I don't know if it's your mods that cause an issue or something else, but I'm really clueless as to what to do.
I'm glad to read (in another thread) that you are still working on SoB. It occurs to me that some of the components in M&G might be better in SoB. Specifically, the tweaks. I guess I conceptualize this mod as being more 'tweaky'while that one seems best focused on warriors and rogues
Thanks for the release! Just a small thing: There seems to be a problem (?) with the new WPO and EE Keeper. EE Keeper won't show the changes and worse, if one saves characters (I like to respec my followers) the saves won't be loadable/black screen... Cheers!
Not sure how that all works, just giving a heads up! Maybe cause EE Keeper is looking for those weapon proficiencies... It doesn't display your new categories (DualWielding and so on) it just lists "...". Then, after you save, I guess it just writes the old values and then causes the problems...

@GawainBS Ah! That is something. Do you also see the DualWielding and Greatsword proficiencies, etc. in the EE Keeper spelled out? Did you install component: 121-125 (WPO)?
See, I was able to recreate this problem, backing up a fresh install and then installing again. Afterwards not installing components 121-125 without any save/load problems. So maybe somewhere a mod conflict (if you can confirm your installation of SoB v.5 with 121-125)?
I took a look on my end, but I'm not sure what steps I should be taking to get the issue to occur. For the sake of simplicity, I chose to install everything from the mod, started a new game, picked Abdel to test, then opened up Keeper and loaded the Auto-Save, edited the game, went back into the game and looked at the proficiencies. As standard, Abdel has two points in both Long Sword and Sword and Shield Style. I tried loading the same edited game in an unmodified installation, saved, reloaded, and it still works in regards to proficiencies. You can see the edit and the results from me test attached.
If there is more information, I can investigate further. :-)
@subtledoctor@Troodon80 Okay. Now I don't seem to be able to recreate it myself and feel a bit like a dummy. Before (re)installing SoB v.5.0.1 today I deleted also the corresponding saves. Although they were a reference for 5.0.2., I thought I could recreate the same problem. Since I used the same exported BWS-Settings I know the whole mix of mods is exactly the same with the only difference that the combos work and show correctly now. The only explanation I have, is that between pre BG-SoB and BG-SoB my saves got corrupted, then decided to work again with 5.0.2. I'm not really sure why.
So guys, sorry for a seemingly wild goose chase. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And many thanks for the mods/Keeper and helping out.
No problem. Since this doesn't seem to be a completely isolated incident, I'd like to keep an eye on future issues similar to this. If I can fix it in Keeper, I will certainly do so.
Hello @subtledoctor. I am going to run a BG once more and i am gonna use your mod. The proficiency and INT + CHA overhau looks absolutely great, good job.
Quick question: How does the system react on permanent stats changes (tomes, trials etc.) ?
In-game I agree with your philosophy of natural stats, but I would put game consistency first. I.e. if I get permanent boost on HP from con tome, getting that crit chance from INT tome would be cool too. Both or none.
Out of game I could see the code adjust the stats on level up, but I imagine there could be problems especially if the engine can't tell the difference between natural stat value and magic boost.
Short story I guess I will use EE keeper to fix things up. Thanks for your good work.
@subtledoctor Is it normal for the game to throw dialogue when a NPC joins and the inate abilities are added? For example, when Imoen joins the party and starts adding abilities for her charisma, etc it shows her saying "sigs Forgive me Ajantis for a moments impatience ...." It does that twice then says "placeholder : imoen Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I was just curious.
Edit: Xzar and Montaron say the same thing. Each one twice.
@subtledoctor with the release date of SoD finally revealed, I have a question to you regarding your mods (NPC EE, SoB, M&G etc) and their compatibility with EET. Currently, as I understand it, they are not compatible with EET?

Attach your BiG World Upload.7z (should be in the game folder) and the WeiDU.log there.

Please tell me that this is inspired at least partially bg the discussion on gibberlings...

If, however, there is some new information that I can investigate in order to fix an issue that arises when using Keeper, I'll do what I can.

Will they be so prior to to the release of SoD?
