Not to poke the bear, but in some places of the world it's already the 29th. Is there any word on the actual *time* the pre-load can begin? My pc is limping along as it is... lol
Anyone else having problems with the Beamdog launcher? It says I can start the download, but crashes when I try...
Yes, crashes for myself as well.

Might be useful to tag someone, but don't know who...
Also getting the crash for pre-download. I am a patient fellow though, and there is still more of today yet to go. I assume they are working diligently on it.

People in the office are aware of the problem and working to rectify it as I type. I'm not one of them--I'm not a tech side guy--but I went and asked the six people huddled round the monitor in the corner if they knew and they gave me the kind of look that said, "We know, we're working on it, stop wasting our time." Then one of them said, "We know, we're working on it, stop wasting our time." I said, "I'll just tell the forums then, shall I?" and another of them said "Why are you still here, wordmonkey? Go away. Go away now."
They love you @AndrewFoley And trust me, if you start asking them "did you fix that?" every minute, they will love you even more. That's exactly what I do at work, and everybody loves me!!!
Starting the download from the first screen crashes for me, too. I was able to get it to work by right-clicking on "Icewind Dale", selecting "details", and then starting the download from the details screen.
