@kulyok was an IWDEE beta tester. I don't know if making "Icewind Dale NPCs" EE compatible is something he/she is considering doing but its worth asking about.
Okies... Files inbound. #1 What is compatible with EE mod wise, or do moders even know?
Yes, it should be. But every mod maded for BG should be fixed for IWD, because each BG game uses difirrent strings in dialog.tlk for spell names which may mess up names and descriptions. For example if in bg1 mod you use existing in dialog.tlk string x for "magic missile", in bg2 string x would have different meaning like "Boo the space hamster" or something. And I think it's the same problem for IWD.
4h30m left. Gives me enough time to get a haircut and a shave, but why would I bother now that I'm not going to leave the house for a few days at least?
If my spare graphics card can take on IWDEE that is...
Darn. I start to work 1,5 hour after the release. With the time it takes to come to the costumer that gives me ... 20 minutes of game playing before I have to go.
Since I was planning a playthrough of vanilla IWD with pre- thought-out characters, I might actually not take as long to generate this time... The playthrough itself will probably take longer, since it's been a while, *and* I want to write down a story type thing as I go along.
I've got dinner (made it around lunchtime so I can just nuke it when I get hungry.. and also did the dishes so there's nothing boring I "need" to do). I've got the rest of the day as well as tomorrow morning off. I've got snacks. I've got caffeinated soft drinks. I've got my entire party already rolled up using my good dice set, race/gender/name/class/kit/stats/starting weapon proficiencies/alignment/personality and backstory all decided.

Questions: (If even answerable)
#1 What is compatible with EE mod wise, or do moders even know?
#2 Any viable planning guides for new kits ect.?
P.S. Guessing: "Be patient" is the obvious answer.. just making sure .

Thanks @bengoshi
@Camdawg has also written that BG2 Tweaks should work with it at launch.
