@dee and thus, the concept of "work" was born... or is it more of a quest if your "saving" andrew.. you know... when you get around to it, and all... im sure he'll understand if its not your top priority or of you only have time to quest on the weekends.
I mean, IwdEE just came out on like 4 or 5 platforms so ...beating that could take a little bit. Maybe you can send him a tablet from work in that mirror... and one to his mother. Mirrors are also probably real bad areas for cell coverage and wifi so load IWD on the tablet before you send it to him. Then remind him he owes you $10 for your play store purchase... and for the service charge for sending things to another plane... thats what friends/coworkers are for!
On another note, as a real scientist, i can confirm wifi and cell phone signals do not travel interplanar/interdimensionally... even if you have Verizon's XLTE... especially if you have AT&T...forget it if you have an iphone there is a huge compatability issue.
The real question is will IWD:EE done enough to wait at least a year before it is patched. I mean if it's another "soon we will attempt to patch out the huge bugs" but they take a year like BG2:EE then I'll pass.

Well, I mean, BG2:EE patching was slowed down big-time by the Atari fiasco, and now IWD:EE. Once they finish patching BG2:EE to 1.3, there really won't be any reason for an IWD:EE patch to take over a year.
Then again, 1.3 may end up not even need much patching, for either game.
been solved yet? It's my biggest hurdle to enjoying BG2 on the iPad. The question marks are a big part of the game and sadly, it really hinders my enjoyment if I can't obsessively click on everything. But seriously it would be a really, really nice feature (some would say bug fix).
Apologies if this has already been addressed. Thanks in advance.
Yes, it will be addressed. You'll be able to toggle the magnifying glass tool to display the action icons on doors, info spots, and interactive objects (as well as containers).
Any possibility of getting the constitution bonus from shapeshifting back? Cernd having 13 instead of the original 25 in Greater Werewolf is quite a blow.
What if I want to update being offline, how do i do that? Do you plan to release an exe for the patch, that would be welcome.
@ifupauline out of curiosity, why would you want to update offline??
Because I won't have an internet connection by the time it will be released? What kind of stupid question is that really. really.... As if I would bother being on a forum and having requests running a cracked game.

no need to insult me, it was an honest question, so maybe next time you could reply with a bit of common courtesy rather than coming across like a complete muppet.
Any plans on adding the Iphone compatibility to baldur's gate 2 with his patch? I am in the proccess of selling my iphone 5, and my ipad 3 gen for a phone 6 plus.

Yes, this patch will add support for iPhone.
As a bit of a head's up, this patch won't include all the new code features from IWD:EE. Those will come later; right now the focus is on the fixes we've been making over the past eleven months.
Thanks Dee - always good to get an update. Do you have a rough estimate for when the patch will land? (any time in the next month is okay with me - now that I have IWDEE for android to keep me quiet...)
people can actually play BG on a iphone? good god thats got to be tiny. I got the iOS version for my son to play on our Ipad Mini and that already feels small. cant imagine anything smaller

I love the resizable fonts in BG 1.3 and IWD:EE. Hopefully that will be in.
@Dee will the improved quick loot be updated to match IWD:EE status? That is one of the things I'm really missing in BG:EE and BG2:EE after playing IWD

is it at least theoretically possible to add a feature that quickloot doesn't work when enemies are visible?
edit: i actually think that generally this is an improvement, i like IWDs instapickup. but it creates opportunity for some exploity behavior where players pick up useful items from freshly killed enemies to use them during the same fight (a potion of extra healing for example or a scroll/wand) when without this feature they likely wouldn't have wasted time walking to the pile.

After much deliberation (and a letter from Andrew's mother) we decided to give in to her demands.
