Yeah, but fournication with strangers not knowing if they have any ITS, and doing so because your indebted to a pimp, that your addicted and need money to pay for your fix or any of the other reason get incolved in the prostitution market unwillingly, it's not good
So the pimp is bad, not the prostitute. The prostitute would just be the victim. Is it evil to be a victim?
I think the defense for police officers that many would give is like paladins they're not trying to intentionally inflict harm. They're trying to protect others from harm. In a ultilitarian ethical sense, the possibility or actual application of inflicting 'harm' is outweighed by the 'happiness' that they bring to others in upholding law and order. Also I remember in the 3E players handbook, it said that magistrates (and thus one could argue police officers) are more likely to be lawful neutral (ideally).
In this sense we're assuming that they always or almost always catch teh right criminal etc.
@Jean_Luc I don't know how realistic that armor is, yes it is not a chain mail bikini however if you look at it, it leaves vital areas completely exposed to attack, it definitely needs a Gorget if it is going to be useful....realistic..ok but not complete I do notice that ALL the men have their necks protected....
Given that the Greyjoys are primarily mariners and coastal raiders, it's probably not very realistic for them to wear much in the way of full chain mail anyway. Tip overboard with 50 pounds of mail on, and you're in trouble.
Didn't realize the Game of Thrones tie in there but yeah drowning is one issue..RUST another issue.
Umm you other guys, I thought we were going to leave the real world hot topics out of a Baldur's Gate forum...
Hmm... you maybe right. Perhaps they're about to land in the painting and thus are kitted out , Victarion Greyjoy is notable for wearing full plate whilst at sea for he has no fear of drowning.

As I said before:

Also, chemist are not all mad scientists... although it's true we hate pharmacists, physicists, biologists and... chemists too!
Good thing you didn't mention biochemists there, or we'd have to have a word or two.
Johnny was a chemist's son but Johnny is no more. What Johnny thought was H2O was H2SO4.

She wears chainmail, double-wields scimitars and has a bow capable of handling her immense strength.
But nah, you biochemists are ok!
