    Is anybody else getting a really slow download?
    I've been stuck on 2.5/2.6G since 19:00 GMT and its now 09:00 GMT
    it seems to be connecting... a lot of the time and only occasionally actually says its downloading anything.
    i've tried with and without p2p and i'm downloading without the client
    Any ideas?

    Oh and i can't get onto the main thread foe IWD:EE announcement because i get no data received "Unable to load the web page because the server sent no data.
    Error code: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE"

    Is there a repair/check files option on the installer? It may have actually finished but has confused itself.

    Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have changed anything
    it checked through the files and then continued to download
    i'm starting to wonder if this is on my end and it's the internet in my uni halls though i can still get onto the internet and watch videos it seems so i'm not sure

    Are you using the standalone installer or the client?

    I have a similar problem, been preloading on beamdog and stuck since hours at 97.8% with on and off connecting/downloading at extremely low speeds... any clues?

    I assume that the servers are having trouble with the number of downloaders
    it was going fine for me before most people noticed that preloading had begun:)

    Still cant get into the icewind dale annoucement thread either
    dunno if it's related to the preload problems
    tried it with different browsers and my phone

    Odd, I've downloaded it a second time onto my laptop - no issues.

    Not sure if this will help but on my previous preload experiences I had to pause the download and click resume when it would stall at super low speeds.

    @wubble‌ maybe you should try restart your internet connection, or pause the download and resume sometimes it fix it.

    Unfortunately i'm in uni halls so i have no control over my internet :(
    and i've tried pausing and resuming.
    i'm gonna stop the download and retry it using the client instead

    seems to be working better this way, i'm getting around 1mb/s
    hopefully it shouldn't take too long

    Yes I tried that, but am still stuck at 97.8%... very strange...

    Can you go ahead and post the direct-download link? So we can use it when its ready if we prefer not to use the client?

    I've just thought what it might be
    the installer might be trying to install the whole game instead of just preloading it
    it obviously can't get the files because beamdog hasn't released them yet

    It could be that thats the problem
    should find out in about 20 mins :)

    @wubble. I hope it is that but I don't think it is. If you check my screenshot from yesterday you can see it says' preload complete' when it's finished.

    Folder should be the following size etc...
