So i was creating a ranger archer (kit) for a solo run of iwd EE and started rolling for abilities and this is what i got after a few tries

Hello and welcome!
A nice character.
When you roll a ranger, four stats have a quite high minimum (13 and 14). Hence the better odds to get an epic roll.

So far so good, it's way easier than my previous attempts at soloing IWD, this might be my first FULL playthru that i'll succeed.
I've only completed BG2 and IWD2 before. I'm really enjoying this game so far.

So far it's really easy, I've made it to the vale of shadows crypt and undead are no problem.
I got lucky early on and got a girdle of beatification

I love how thac0 gets so low with just a regular composite longbow
I just need to get a better armor so i can reduce my AC, i'm still using a studded leather armor from the first town.

I advise you get yourself a good mace/hammer at some point to deal with missile/piercing resistant enemies in case your bow doesn't work on them.

I agree with @wubble, though you will be able to kill most undead with your sheer machine-gun abilities even if they resist piercing. My archer constantly scouted ahead and killed of most things herself, even in undead infested areas, at low levels due to insane THAC0 and good APR progression.

Buy the holder for ammo and the shimmering sash as soon as you can afford it. Good light armors are rare, as you have already realized. The boots of speed will be your friends as well as kiting will be necessary.

And buy LOTS of arrows, if you're playing solo you're going to need probably 12,000 for a dungeon. In fact I advise you get the mod which adds quivers as you will spew those arrows out like a first time drinker.

I just used bg2 tweaks and enabled infinite stacking for ammunitions.
I've put that run to a pause and im now trying different classes.
