Is it possible to get more than 5 attacks without improved haste?
2 attacks lvl 13 fighter + 1 attack grand mastery + 1 attack dual wielding + 1 attack blem +2 + 1 attack kundane +2 + 1/2 attack gauntlets of extraordinary specialization = 6 1/2 attacks!
According to my calculations it's possible however I am not sure if BG2EE supports more than 5 attacks without improved haste.
For instance the lvl 9 spell energy blades grants 10 attacks and improved haste assuming this is a workaround the hypothetical 5 attacks limit of BG2EE.
Does anybody know if BG2EE supports more than 5 attacks the way I have calculated?

Using temporary effects however you can get up to 10 APR. There are various effects that add APR, Improved Haste and Whirlwind of course are the easiest to reach the 10 APR cap (note that with IH and dual-wield, you will do TWO off hand swings, meaning 8 APR max on the main hand - but using 1h with no OH plus WW will get you 10 main hand swings).
@elminster : boon of lathander or (normal) haste also add 1 APR meaning you can get 6 APR with these spells. It still is no match compared to IH or WW indeed
Some shapechanges have quite good APR and then there's spell weapons like MMM and Energy Blade.
Don't forget the Gauntlets of Extraordinary Specialization. And the Boots of Speed can erroneously add 0.5 APR, if your APR is a fraction. It can boost 1.5 APR to 2. Likewise, normal haste will also sometimes only give 0.5 APR, instead of 1, if your APR is a fraction.
