Okay, the party Rests and heals some more. You go back to full. With the Priest dead, Duchess (who I completely forgot about during the fight (sorry)) is looking to go and bury her friend, Candela.
Treasure: The Priest has a mace and some plate mail. Except for the sword, it does not look like they are carrying any treasure. Would you like to go back to the room where the priest was doing his ritual?
Alora, fully revived , will lead her merry band back to the ritual room. She will take the ruby sword though she is keeping it wrapped in a cloak so she doesn't become hypnotised by it again.
"Come on everyone, let's go and see if they left any treasure behind," says Alora cheerfully.
OOC: Is the priest's mace magical? And does anyone want to wear his plate mail?
The ritual room is empty, except for the dead orcs, which have been laid out in a straight row in one corner. There is the room beyond the beaded curtain, though.
"Let's complete the ritual and see what it is!" says Alora excitedly. Then when she sees the looks on everyone's faces she adds: "Joking! I was joking!"
Alora's bottom lip trembles when she hears Edwin criticising her. But then she realises he was obviously using irony for comic effect. "Edwin, you had me going there," she says, giving him a cheerful punch on the shoulder.
Alora, who is cheerful again now that she has realised that Edwin was just pulling her leg, decides to take a look through the beaded curtain into the next room.
Behind the beaded curtain is a door. The door is open, and through it you can see a somewhat dusty bed, which has apprently been used by someone to sleep, and nine blankets laid out on the floor. Someone was probably sleeping alone in the bed (almost certainly the priest, which means his "lessers" (werewolf lady and the orcs) were sleeping on the floor.) You also find a door under one of the hangings.
The room with the bed also has a table and four chairs, a stool and a wooden wardrobe.
Alora will search the room, checking the table a wardrobe for secret compartments. If she finds nothing she will listen at the door under the hanging and check for traps before opening it.
"It's okay everyone, I have checked for traps and I am certain there aren't any down here. But it seems odd that there is a corridor going nowhere. Tiax d'you want to come and see if you can find a secret door?"
Alora feels like there *is* something here. After about 10 minutes of intense searching, she finds a small depression on the side wall. When she presses it, she opens a door in the 30' of wall from the entrance.
The door leads to a 40 by 20' room. The room seems to be deserted except for a table and four chairs. A battered wooden chest lies on top of the table.
Alora will check the room for traps and secret doors before approaching the chest. Then she will check for traps on the chest. If it is locked she will attempt to pick the lock.
She finds nothing in the room,. But the chest has a lock that consists of a screaming face with two wide, taring eyes. There doesn't seem to be a keyhole.
Alora will walk round the table so she is standing at the back of the chest and then attempt to open it by reaching over and pressing the 'eyes'. She is hoping that if the lid springs open and something nasty pops out it will jump onto the floor rather than coming right at her.
The reaches around and presses both eyes at once. She hears something hit the wall with the loud sound of metal on wood, and the chest pops open, the lid nearly smacking her in the face. Inside, she sees a bunch of gold and silver coins, and some fire agates.

Yes, the mace is magical.
The room with the bed also has a table and four chairs, a stool and a wooden wardrobe.
Alora opens the door to find a small, blind corridor, 40' long.

This is what Fire Agates look like.
"It seems you found something this time girl."
