I tried the Ranger / Priest multi-class (Mieliki) in BG2EE with 0.74i. 1) He gets allot of duplicate spells at most of the spell levels. 2) His racial enemy says it depends on the region you select, but I never get to select a ranger region. 3) I have 5th, 6th, and 7th level spells from spheres that don't show as major for me. 4) The class says I should be able to go to 3 pips in bows, but I can get 4.
@Grammarsalad, I was hoping to try a Wave Servant of Umberlee. I was wondering if you could fix the issues with it if time allowed (I know you are very busy)? 1) Don't get summon water elemental as 6th level spell. I get it at 5th (which is correct), but all other focus spells for other elements gets the summons twice (at non-focus level and focus level). This allows for two levels of memorization. 2) The armor is restricted to studded leather. I thought clerics get at least chain mail if not splint mail? 3) The special ability is Storm shield instead of Smashing wave. 4) Change the summon water elemental from a duration of 1turn +1rnd/lvl to 1turn/lvl duration.
1) might be a deeper issue than just the kit. I'll take a look. 2) You are correct. I probably gave the class the wrong usability. Will check 3) This might be fine, actually. I may change the description to match (and give Smashing Wave at later levels). Smashing Wave is a bit strong for first level 4) Will do

I have encountered the following phenomenon with MnG as well as FnP: - You meet a new joinable NPC - You have the opening dialogue and say *yes, join* but your party is full already. - Your party management screen comes up and you have to select one member to leave - You select the new NPC - New NPC starts parting dialogue now and you send him to wait at an inn (from mod). This is something I frequently do to have NPCs from remote locations wait for me at a central point e.g. FAI. - When you later try to recruit the NPC again, it is stuttering from what appears like some unfinished sequence your mods tried to execute during the first joining action.
Of course this can be avoided by letting the NPC join and finish the action first, but that requires another NPC to be kicked out instead, which is not always suitable. Not sure if anything can be improved or it's just the way it is?

I can't quite tell what you are describing here. What is stuttering?
Also, what do you mean about an unfinished sequence executing during the first joining action? Neither of the mods you mentions adds anything to joining scripts, as far as I remember...
Also, MnG has many different components that might as well be different mods. Do you know which component you are describing?
Understood. I just thought it might be your mods because the spells that keep repeating on every round are D5xxxx spells every time. Sorry.
This was the last occasion: I was recruiting a bard, Garrick. As soon as he joined, Bard Aura Luck was cast on every turn, making him unable to move or perform other actions or talks (I thought it was widely accepted to call this *stuttering*). The displayed text comes from D5BD01. This made me think it might be MnG in this case, since it changes bards and contains the spell.
I had similar events when recruiting priests and rangers, each time the repeating spell according to the displayed text was some D5___.spl. In all cases a spell from FnP. I have no further details for those cases, but they all followed above pattern.
I assume it may just be a local problem with my install, otherwise I'm sure others would have noticed it, too. If I change areas to force an autosave, I can quit the game and the effect stops when I reload, so there is a workaround and it's just some oddity.

Maybe... do you have party AI on? Maybe the AI is triggering the bard song whenever it sees the modal button is off, and the effect is that it keeps turning the new bard songs on and off and on and off. Seems like a conflict between the new MnG bard songs and party AI. Sounds like something that can be addressed by patching bards' AI scripts.
.
I don't use party AI. And the strange thing is that it only happens upon joining. I can*t reproduce it after I have done a reload. There seems to be no issue after whatever stuck action was cleared. This is why I took so long to even consider reporting it, there is no way to save it or reproduce it. I agree that unless others report it as well, there is not really enough material to pursue it.
@subtledoctor, I'm in BG2EE with 0.74j installed. Cernd is getting no spells beyond the basic 1 per level that all divine users get at start. His kit shows as Shapeshifter. There is no special ability to select a kit. So I end up using EEkeeper to give him the spells he needs to fight Faldorn.
I would vote Beast Lord as well. My only misgiving is the last time I added a kit to Cernd, he lost access to his Cernd specific items (staff and cloak). So wanted to call this out as a watch out.
@Grammarsalad, I am in BG2EE with 0.74j installed. I see the Water Elemental is not using the 1 turn per level duration yet. Also, the water elemental likes to wander around. Is there a way to make him act like other elementals who wait to be told where to go (unless they see an enemy of course)?

I mean, you don't want to be engulfed by the ocean wearing metal armor, right?

After all, he did get a girl pregnant and run away.
